You become what you listen to. You become what you think, You become what’s in your mind. If your mind is filled with the Word of God, then you will start becoming what it says. It will wash you.
“Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word.” - Ephesians 5:25,26

what a beautiful post! thank you so much for sharing that 😘
This life has seen sickness and chronic disease, poverty and lack, loneliness and depression, addiction and emptiness, in less than 22 years.
I could be worse off now, but Jesus was too good to leave me there.
It’s because of the past struggles God has carried me through, that the trials which used to scare me, now excite me.
It may sound weird, but I’m honored to see more resistance come my way. Resistance is a compliment.
I don’t give thanks “for” bad situations, but in the midst of them. Giving thanks interrupts the emotional downfall that any resistance wants to bring you.
When did I stop questioning my purpose? The answer is simple. I saw a million reasons to turn around. Resistance.
I was designed to be strengthened by adversity, dancing underwater, sleeping under thousands of flying arrows, smiling at pain, laughing at torment, and drawn closer to my Father in fist-pounding suffering that was sent my way to kill.
The enemy is throwing discomfort at me, but little does he know that his actions are inviting, yet deeper, the overwhelming presence of the comforter.
My best nights of sleep have always been after my worst, most uncomfortable days. My Father always has his eye on me. Even to make sure I rest well and don’t miss my alarm in the morning!
As a bold traitor to the ways of this world, because of the peace I carry in the middle of suffering, someone will catch the familiar scent of home they used to know, and make a u-turn as well.
You and I were put here to represent Jesus. To re-direct traffic, and lead more and more people back home. Or should I say, lead home back into more people.
And how well we handle and come out of resistance, shows the world that Jesus is the answer to everything they’ve ever wanted.

Love and trust God with all of your heart. The greatest commandment is to love him, and to love people. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37) . We need to understand that no matter our opinion on a person, God loves them all. We have to learn to be people of love. We need to work together and show people Gods love. It’s all about caring and loving others fully. The greatest way you can do that is to share the love of God. God’s heart breaks for the lost. God wants you to reach out to them. God’s desire is that all people would choose to come to him. “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” (Luke 15:4-7) God is telling you to reach out to people. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) Your name is written in the plan of someone else’s life.Reach everyone with the name of Jesus. We need to love everyone. Quit judging. Quit looking down on people. Just love, because we’re doing a great job of hating people to hell, not loving them to Jesus.

When you...
When you’re tempted to think God has reached his limit with you, the Spirit reminds you that “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end” (Lam. 3:22).
When you feel like God has abandoned you, the Spirit reminds you, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Ps. 34:18).
When you expect to be rejected by Christ, the Spirit reminds you that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you, that where he is, you will be also (John 14:3).
When you are racked by insecurity, the Spirit reminds you that you are safely in the hands of Jesus and nothing can snatch you away (John 10:29).
When you are overcome by fear, the Spirit reminds you that “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18) and that his own indwelling presence in your life is not conducive to fear, but to power, love, and self-control (2 Tim. 1:7). Indeed, “you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons” (Rom. 8:15).
When you are just flat-out overwhelmed by life, and it seems like one thing after another, and you’re tired and desperate and feel hopelessly lost, the Spirit reminds you that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom. 8:38-39).
