One More thing About Pin BFDIA

Remember how when Pencil and the other contestants were resurrected from the underworld- No one remembered their time there at all?

I think it's worth considering- that Pin might not actually remember Coiny "Digging to the Center of the Earth" for her.

(Update- It does seem that Pin is aware of it by BFDIA 15, but we don't know if it's because she remembers it- or was told about it. So the second-hand account may have under-sold how rough the experience was.)

So It's very much possible, that she doesn't actually know the full extent that he was sticking up for her- when she left him

And it was so vivid and intense for Coiny- he might have just assumed that he didn't even need to tell Pin about it.

Also- it was her plan that led him there in the first place.

Or maybe he did know about the memory loss thing- and just assumed that their pyschic link thing or whatever wouldn't let it affect them once she was out.

More thoughts on Pin

BFDIA 18 Spoilers

Little bit of a hot take- I don't think Pin left Coiny hanging there out of cruelty or a lack of appreciation for Coiny's efforts to help her-

-Rather, I think she's just simply waaaay too much of a stickler to the rules + her own sense of justice/vengeance and the goal of winning the game to take the time to be considerate about it.

She even tried tried to warn Coiny early on. "You shouldn't have revived me if you wanted to win." And even stated plainly- that she was only trying to get her own lever up when they got to Tennis Ball's second booby-trapped tower. She wasn't trying to hide anything at all. And she also early on expected Coiny to trip her down the stairs at the first opportunity, going up the light-house.

Thinking more in hindsight from earlier in the series- Pin's not really the type to do cross-team alliances. She helped Leafy at first in the very first episode of BFDI, but once they were on separate teams, she wouldn't help leafy until she was properly eliminated from the game. And she's never really seen doing any type of cross-team Alliances at any other point in BFDI history either (As far as I know) I don't think she even helped Bomby when he was on Fries's team in BFDIA 14.

Speaking of BFDIA 14-

I think it's worth noting that the core cause of her crash-out- Was the notion of the other team stealing her song and violating the spirit of fair play in the game. Yeah, she rambled on about the thing she held grudges for- be it the very valid loss of her limbs, face etc, and also the smaller circumstance of the swing set and dance-party- and those are certainly a key part of her motivation as well.

But I think it's a bit un-appreciated how much she gets tunnel-visioned by the game itself and things working out how she thinks its supposed to go.

(Additional thing I think i should have added on to here)

I think another way to word it- is that Pin was just so invested in being a competitor with integrity, to point that it caught Coiny completley off guard how ready she was to go against him as just another rival in the game- instead of as old WOAH bunch pals.

So RDR2 in BFDI- Huh.

It has been weeks since i learned Red Dead Redemption 2 exists (albiet with dubious canon relevance) in the BFDI world- and I have gotten back in my big RDR2 mood/patterns/fixation(tm) ever sicne

Yes, people are "doing something".

NINETEEN STATES have joined the suit so far. In a climate this divided, that's not nothing. That's SOMETHING.

Many of the people in power know this is wrong. Others are realizing that people aren't going to stand for this forever. Keep the pressure up. Don't give up, don't give them your despair.

And don't fall victim to the illusion that nobody is resisting. The fact that you haven't seen it means it is being concealed from you, not that it does not exist. Much is being done and will be done without your knowledge. Do not let the assumption that nobody ELSE is fighting cause you to abandon the fight. That is precisely what they want to achieve.

This can be turned around. Even if you don't believe that, it doesn't hurt to act as though you do.

New Reward Idea: Glitz Pit Rematch

Chapter 3 Spoilers:

In the GCN Paper Mario TTYD: After Beating the Glitz pit in Chapter 3, you lose all of your progress in the Match Rankings, and you have to fight to get the Champion Belt again-

But you don't really get any new rewards- aside from the star points and coins you get from beating each match and the ability to fight Rawk Hawk on demand.

So, here's my Idea for what they could have as a Proper reward for beating the Glitz Pit a second time-

*If you beat the RAWWWK a second time, he will join your party- and a quest to get even stronger!!!*

also if they give him dialouge with gay undertones that could lowkey or highkey imply that he has a crush (in denial) on Mario, that'd be great and add some diversity to the current pool of party members that have already crushed or flirted with mario in the original version.
