I haven't considered Dean carrying Castiel's blade before, it's glorious.

Dean can't see how the grace entwines with his soul, but he can feel the same tension in the air

When he draws the blade, it sings the same way Cas would, too close, overwhelming, and too radiant for humans to comprehend.

Angels dying makes an impact on the Earth. But when you already grieve them as a person?

Although the blade is Cas's most prized possession, he is much more materialistic than other angels and his grace latches onto those as well.

Human souls are powerful and can link to an object, but angelic grace can spread.

My favorite is when Cas takes off his helmet and has the smeared makeup like Battison. Dean does NOT recognize him and just thinks of him as his wet cat boyfriend, "Cas."

Cas gets normal dates when he looks like this, one time they run into Charlie (Lois).

Charlie immediately recognizes Cas and is surprised that her boss looks like he's going through an early 2000s teen angst phase and Dean is dating the head of their company.

Charlie pulls Dean aside and smacks him

Charlie: "Why didn't you tell me you were dating our boss!?"

Dean: "I'm not? Charles, calm down."

Charlie: "Omggg….you're dating our boss!"

Dean, chuckling: "Charlie, batman isn't our boss."

Charlie, whisper-screaming: "Castiel Novak is batman!?"

Ignoring robin, i can absolutely see broody Batman!Dean who can’t stop staring at (accidentally) seductive and elusive Catwoman!Castiel. He’s just trying to steal stuff and doesn’t understand why his outfit/mannerisms keep making people blush.

or, on the other side, Batman!Cas has like 5 kids (jack, claire, etc) who become the robins and Catwoman!Dean just shows up sometimes to flirt badly and then run away.
