Hi love! I saw your post about politics and about who’s a Trump supporter, which is a shame because I’m truly a big fan of you writing ;(

Just know that not everything’s about politics and choosing a side. I’m aware that it might be complicated to understand that now, but I will give you an example: me and my best friends are in opposite sides in politics, and that doesn’t mean we don’t get along well, we actually, do! She’s in my house every weekend and we don’t have to be talking about politics subjects.

So, I understand that I’m no longer welcome in you blog, but Leno that besides you politics view, your writing is amazing either way!

Be kind, always, even with the ones you don’t agree with. ;)

coming in here to say you’re a trump supporter is insane behavior. why would i welcome someone who supports someone who dehumanizes, delegitimizes and infringe on my human rights?

everything is about politics. the media u consume, the people u talk to, the news outlet you learn from, the education you receive, even the food u eat. is it ethically sourced? are the farmers being paid a fair wage? is the information u learn unbiased or biased? is it propaganda? is the news outlets doing informative journalism or leading a witch hunt? politics is a public affair of interactions around us—not simply left-right, democratic vs republican. for u to feel that it doesn’t matter in life is a privilege you’ve yet to understand.

i feel sorry for ur friend. the fact they hang around u knowing that, if given the option, u would strip away their human rights for moral superiority. not to mention—i had friends like you, and i kept arguing with them for them to understand how their support towards trump harms and hurt me. and they changed. it’s unfortunate in this time and age, u haven’t.

“be kind” to everyone means to be empathetic towards people. not to accept bigotry and ignorance for social harmony and law-abiding behavior.

My name is Saja. I’m a wife, a mother, and a woman who once believed her story would be simple. I thought my days would be filled with watching my daughter grow — from her first smile to her first steps — surrounded by the small joys of everyday life.

War has returned to our home. Again. And once again, we find ourselves living under skies that never seem to rest.

There was a moment — a fragile, breathless moment — when the bombs paused and the world seemed to remember us. It gave us hope. We thought maybe, just maybe, we could start to rebuild. But now, we are back in the dark — hiding, holding on, praying.

I’m writing this not as someone seeking pity, but as a mother who has no other choice but to speak.

Imagine holding your baby in the middle of the night, not because she cried, but because the world outside roared too loud for either of you to sleep. Imagine whispering bedtime stories not to lull her into dreams, but to keep the fear from settling into her tiny bones.

This is my life.

This is my daughter’s life.

My name is Nadin. I never imagined I would write something like this. I’ve always been someone who kept her worries quiet, someone who believed that even the hardest days could be endured with patience and faith. But right now, I am reaching out — not because I want to, but because I need to.

I am a wife, a mother, and one of many women in Gaza trying to survive days that feel like they have no end. There was a short time — a brief ceasefire — where we thought things might start to heal. My days are filled with uncertainty, and my nights with prayer. We have lost so much. Our home was damaged, our sense of safety taken from us. But through all of this, I try to keep going. I try to hold on to what little peace I can create with my hands, my words, and my love.
