Hello! I am Dahria Quinn aka Opal Goblin. I have always been magnetized towards arts and crafts since I was young. At 3 years old is the youngest I can remember being so obsessed with drawing, so much so that I would draw all over my legs and the walls in my room. I stopped drawing on the walls at my parents request, but drawing on myself carried well into Highschool. Most of my teachers were not fond of me doodling all over myself and assignments, but it was the only way I could focus, I could not help it, no matter how many times they told me to stop. Some of my inspiration comes from what is produced by my doodles. Doodling such an integral part of me.

I feel like I am finally coming into "my style" recently. I have met some other creatives throughout the years that have inspired me indefinitely. I am grateful to have some across such amazing and inspiring people that have helped shape me into the artist I am today. I don’t think I would have been able discover the mediums of art that make my heart sing.

Over the years I have had times where I was either fed up with art in itself or I was feeling so deflated at the idea that art would be my career choice. Many have told me that it is not possible to be happy and do art successfully. I used to tell myself “Why did I get the one talent that is the most useless?”

But, art has always proven to be such a deep part of who I am. I have always found my way back to art, even if it had been a year or two since I even doodled. I have not fully come to terms with the fact that art resides in the depths of my soul until my late 20s. This is something I love to do, want to do, and need to do. Being creative is so unfathomably part of my being.

My goal is to create art with love and vibrancy. I enjoy the long process of creating a design or craft. My imagination takes me on a creative and chromatic ride with each project. My individuality shines through with every piece. As I have gone through my life I have realized that being myself is the most important thing to me and my art.
