Although I do admit to having Sans/Jevil/Spamton fatigue, I've come to a realization that venting/ranting about how popular they are is certainly not a good use of my time.

If I were expressing my love for a certain character and someone was all "Hey cut it out, you're clogging everyone's feed," it wouldn't feel good at all.

And while I am aware that certain people can do some VERY questionable/problematic things with Spamton, Jevil, and Sans that does not mean that the creators/fans that treat them with respect and care should be held responsible for those that don't.

Long story short, I may not have the same level of passion for these three as you, but that doesn't mean you should have to reduce or abandon your own passion, especially since I've seen some wonderful and breathtaking projects and creations come from the creators of and fans of all three characters.

It's subtle details like this that really go to show just how much he cares about King.

Yes I am ignoring the ending of When Marnie Was There because it fit too well for me, but if I were to make an alternative, maybe Pazu and Sheeta from Castle in the Sky could work???

Another alt for Gus could be No-Face but I really wanted most of these characters to be humanoid.

Lisa (Sosuke's mom) is Eda and either Fujimoto or Lady Eboshi are Belos.

I mostly came up with this idea because Collector and Ponyo both being overpowered god children was such a funny parallel to me.

For some reason I really want San and Ashitaka to have the roles of Raine and Darius but with the dynamic of Eda and Raine. Feedback on this idea is appreciated

Another I had is that Seiji or Shizuku from Whisper of the Heart could be Gus mainly because the two as Gus and Mattholomule is a really cute dynamic parallel

I think I mostly assumed that the coven heads live at the castle since Darius had his own bedroom seemingly in the castle (shown in the episode "Any Sport in a Storm")

(I am mostly assuming this is inside the castle as the walls and furniture are primarily gold-colored)

Still, I'm really banking on the idea that each coven has their own type of building on the Isles. Healing could have a hospital, Plant has a giant greenhouse, Potions has a lab.

Also it'd make sense that Belos would want the heads to live in the castle, to better monitor them and close them off from any outside relationships that could influence them (sounds familiar wowowo)

OK YKNOW WHAT lotsa ppl were asking where Little Misfortune is and I feel like I finally need to clear the air.

I have never played nor watched a playthrough of Little Misfortune.

Ironic that I love Fran Bow yet have never seen Little Misfortune, huh? Idk I never felt like picking it up and most of the protags in this post are from games from late 2000s to early 2010s. Little Misfortune is more recent than that, as far as I can remember.

I am thinking of looking at a playthrough of it soon, but for now, no Misfortune :(

With the revelation of the Collector being just one out of a whole species and the whole “Collector creed” as in the book King read, it really has me thinking on the mural in King’s tower and the name of the Titan Trappers as a group. What if the big battle between the Titan Trapper and Titan was not about slaying the Titan, but rather about the Titan Trapper trying to subdue the Titan long enough for the Collectors to collect and preserve it?

After all, the comet IS headed towards the Titan’s face, and as we saw in this episode, well…

But given the established fact that Titan magic cancels out Collector magic this episode, as well as the mystery of how that battle ended, I feel the story of the Collectors and Titans may have gone in a direction like this:

Countless eons ago, the Collector (who shall be referred to as Cole for ease) came into existence to a group of Collectors. At some point, he was brought along to observe and participate in the collecting of a new planet as part of his training to be a proper Collector…

Philip is so funny because he's not even THAT good at this. It took him 350 years to get enough political control in the BI to try and sigil every witch and there was still a thriving wild witch subculture until like weeks before the day of unity, and he still didnt get everyone. He ran out of palismans to eat and suffered for it when several characters we know still had their own palismans. He lied to Luz and Lilith and then sat down like 10 paces away from them and wrote "I sure am sad my two new best friends died" right where Luz could come read it over his shoulder.

He's completely unsubtle like this even as Belos-- he promises Lilith he'll heal Eda and then declares he's executing her later the same day. He doesn't even try a lie of omission or going behind her back, he just outright says "nevermind actually, fuck you." And sure, she can't do anything about it directly because he's so strong, but losing her loyalty still has permanent consequences. Anyways my point is he's going in my cringe compilation

oh also if the Collectors ever had surnames, these guys would be the 'Cassiopeias', named after 'Cassiopeia', the constellation consisting of 5 bright stars

Another candidate could be the 'Cruxes', after the 'Crux' constellation also consisting of 5 stars.

Crux makes the most sense symbolically, since the 4 connected stars and the 1 stray star almost mirrors these 2 murals

(granted the second pic only has 3 big Collectors, but I digress)

but Cassiopeia sounds the coolest to me. Imagine baby Collector's real name being 'Proxima Cassiopeia'. That'd be cool as fuck.

since it's been confirmed that there are multiple Collectors, what are y'alls headcanon names for each of them?

I know some people call baby Collector 'Colly', but maybe we could come up with more appropriate names for them?

I thought of 'Proxima', named after the red dwarf star that is closest to the sun. Red dwarf stars are also the smallest and coolest stars, representing how little Collector is the smallest one, and is likely the least temperamental compared to the other four Collectors.

Proxima also works since the Collector with the yellow star (which can be interpreted as a 'sun') is the one with their arm outstretched to the baby Collector, representing how close the two possibly were. (also if we name them Proxima their nickname can be 'Proxy' which is funny if u know creepypasta)

I also thought of 'Tauri', named after the T Tauri star, which is the youngest red dwarf star ever recorded. Again, representing how baby Collector is the youngest of the 5.

For the 'Moon Collector', I thought of naming them 'Leda', after the smallest moon of Jupiter, considering how they're the second youngest of the Collectors. I couldn't find what the second smallest moon of Jupiter was, so if someone knows please let me know because that will be my official hc name for them.

For the 'Yellow Star' or 'Sun Collector', I've named them 'Polaris', after the biggest star in the Ursa Minor constellation. I mostly chose this name because it sounded nice.

A more lore-related name could be 'Centaurus', after the constellation that holds the biggest yellow hypergiant star ever found. The ACTUAL yellow hypergiant is stupidly named 'HR 5171' instead of something cool, so bear with me here. I'm gonna go with 'Centaurus', since this constellation is the same one where 'Proxima Centauri' is located, and this goes well with the yellow star Collector being closest to the baby Collector.

The 'Planet Collector's' name is pretty obvious, I'd either name them Saturn or Jupiter. I imagine them being the more 'protective' or the 'guardian' of the group, so I prefer the name Jupiter here.

Finally, for the 'Red Star' Collector, I'd name them 'Betelgeuse', after the Betelgeuse star. It is a red supergiant and one of the largest visible to the naked eye. This name is absolutely perfect, especially if we believe that the Red Star Collector is the eldest of the 5.

So Proxima, Leda, Centaurus, Jupiter and Betelgeuse, the 5 Collectors who wiped Titans from existence. Hope y'all enjoyed the name headcanons, and please please please tell me yours! I'd love to know!
