"Change Your Mindset to Achieve Financial, Family and Employment Success: The Secret to Joining the 2%"
Success is something that many people strive for, but only a small percentage of people actually achieve it. What is the difference between the 2% who succeed and the 98% who don’t? When it comes to financial success, family success, and employment success, the answer is a difference in mindset.
The 2% of people who succeed financially have a mindset of wealth and abundance. They understand that their financial success is a result of their saving and investing, and they prioritize these activities. The 98%, on the other hand, have a mindset of scarcity. They prioritize spending money over saving and investing, and they don’t understand that their financial success is a result of their actions.
The same is true when it comes to family success. The 2% of people who are successful prioritize spending time with their family and building meaningful connections with them. They view their family as an opportunity, not an obligation. The 98% think of family more as a requirement, and because of that, they don’t prioritize spending time with their family and building connections.
Finally, when it comes to employment success, the 2% of people who are successful have a mindset of growth. They understand the importance of learning new skills and developing their talents in order to be successful. The 98%, however, often lack this understanding and don’t prioritize learning and growth.
So, why do 2% of people succeed and 98% do not? It’s because they have different mindsets. The 2% of people who succeed have a mindset of wealth, family, and growth, while the 98% have a mindset of scarcity, obligation, and stagnation.
Fortunately, those in the 98% can shift to the 2% by changing their mindsets. To succeed financially, the 98% should start by developing a mindset of wealth and abundance. They should begin to focus on long-term, compounding gains and prioritize saving and investing. To achieve family success, the 98% should start by changing their mindset to prioritize spending time with their family and creating meaningful connections. Finally, to succeed in their careers, the 98% should prioritize learning new skills and expanding their knowledge.
Changing your mindset is not easy, but it is possible. Start by recognizing the importance of these mindsets and making a conscious effort to adopt them. Spend time each day visualizing yourself as someone who is successful financially, in family matters, and in their career. And remember that it takes time to develop a new mindset and make it part of your life, so be patient and be consistent.
The 2% of people who succeed in financial, family, and employment matters have a different mindset than the 98%. But, by changing their mindset, those in the 98% can shift to the 2%. All it takes is a conscious effort to adopt the mindsets of wealth, family, and growth. With dedication and consistency, anyone can achieve success.

Is a Recession Coming in 2023? How to Survive Job Cuts and Layoffs
The year 2023 is fast approaching, and many are wondering whether or not a recession is on the horizon. There are a variety of factors that can contribute to an economic downturn, and it is impossible to predict the future. However, there is reason to be cautious as economic indicators can often provide a glimpse into what may be ahead.
One of the biggest concerns is the potential for job cuts and layoffs. As businesses struggle to remain profitable, they are often forced to make difficult decisions to reduce costs. This can have a devastating impact on the lives of those affected, leaving them with few options for employment and financial security.
So, what can you do to prepare for a potential recession in 2023? Here are a few tips to help you survive job cuts and layoffs:
 1. Save Money – One of the best ways to prepare for a potential recession is to save as much money as possible. Try to save at least three months' worth of expenses in an emergency fund so that you have a cushion if you are laid off.
 2. Update Your Resume – Make sure your resume is up to date and ready to go. You never know when you may need to apply for a job, so make sure your resume is current and showcases your skills and experience.
 3. Network – Building a strong network is essential in any job market, but especially during a recession. Take the time to build relationships with potential employers and colleagues in your industry. This can help you stay informed of any potential job openings.
 4. Develop New Skills – Take the time to develop new skills and add them to your resume. This can help you stay competitive in a tight job market and make you a more attractive candidate for employers.
 5. Diversify Your Income – A recession is a great time to diversify your income. Consider taking on freelance work or starting a side hustle to supplement your income.
Although it is impossible to predict the future, it is important to be prepared for any potential economic downturns. By following these tips, you can be better prepared to survive job cuts and layoffs if a recession does come in 2023.

Better Work Life Balance
Work life balance has been part of our cultural lexicon since the 1970's. As baby boomers strove to achieve it all with both work and family.
When employees and employers discuss work-life balance, it's about drawing a clear line between your work or business life and personal life. When you leave the office, you want to leave work there.
Technology has increased the pressure to be always-on. And Covid has transformed homes into offices, making it physically impossible to leave work behind. And for some, the vehicle is both a mode of work and place of work.
But it's still possible to achieve work-life balance. Here are 5 easy things you can do to start reducing stress, improve your physical and mental health, and lead a more overall balanced life.
5 Ways to Establish Work-Life Balance During Covid
1 | Define Your Home Office Space
If you work from home, you've probably cobbled together an office space. But do you like how this space looks? Does it energize you? Does it make you feel positive about work? If you answered no to any of those questions, your workspace could do with a mini-makeover.
Cheap ways to spruce up your work space include cork boards, calendars with images or quotes you love, a hard-to-kill plant for a touch of green, a great desk lamp, and a stylish area rug. And if you are back at the office, by all means, makeover that space.
2 | Move!
Move around and you'll feel more energized. Hold a walk and talk meetings. Every couple hours, stand up. Go for a 5-10 minute walk -- either in your house or around the block. It'll improve your mood, energy, and focus. Fitbits are getting cheaper, and can be a great nudge to keep you moving.
3 | Take Regular Breaks
In a regular workplace setting, you'd have coffee or water cooler breaks . Make sure to pencil breaks into your at-home workday. Especially since most of us are putting in even longer hours.
If you're back at work, make sure you're setting aside time for regular breaks, too. Block out time in your Outlook or Google calendar. Every couple hours, make sure you're stretching your legs and stepping away from your work.
4 | Establish Routine
If you're working from home instead of commuting, a routine will help you feel your best. Most people have a set flow to start their workday at home, it's usually some version of getting out of bed, showering, and shuffling to their office chair.
Certainly, that gets the job done. But it might not prep you for peak performance. Ways to establish routine and bring focus to your day:
●      Going for a walk or drive after breakfast so you can mimic your commute.
●      Dressing for the office everyday. (The night before, pick out a business casual outfit. Even if you were able to wear sweatpants to the office before, it just feels good to look put together.)
●      Set an end work time. The work day ends at a set time every day. Find a way to regularly mark the end of your workday. Take off your blazer and hang it on the closet. Power off your computer. Slip on those slippers.
5 | Proactively Communicate
Communicate your needs. Don't assume everyone knows you feel isolated, or overworked and under-appreciated. If you're struggling, talk to your manager. When raising a concern, it's a good idea to have some possible solutions in mind. This makes you look like a proactive problem-solver. You and your boss can brainstorm ideas together.
Additionally, you can use your work calendar to proactively communicate. Don't assume everyone knows you're done working at 5pm, or that you can hop on a meeting at 6pm EST with your co-workers who are 3 hours behind. Block out time in your calendar each day for when you go offline.
Work Life Balance Quotes
"Either you run the day, or the day runs you." -Jim Rohn
"No one on his deathbed ever said, 'I wish I had spent more time at the office.'" - Paul Tsongas
"Be steady and well-ordered in your life so that you can be fierce and original in your work." -Gustave Flaubert
"Be moderate in order to taste the joys of life in abundance." -Epicurus
"Balance is not better time management, but better boundary management. Balance means making choices and enjoying those choices." -Betsy Jacobson
"Don't confuse having a career with having a life." -Hillary Clinton
"The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities." -Stephen Covey
"A career is wonderful, but you can't curl up with it on a cold night." -Marilyn Monroe
"If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." - Mother Teresa
