I am involved in self defense classes and knowledge. I am involved in ways to escape a terroristic attack. I advise all people to be aware, and to carry mace, pepper gel or spray, and a knife in the event of trouble. The more comfortable you are with your person and your protection the better.

A tower of silence (known also as a ‘dakhma’) is a type of structure used for funerary purposes by adherents of the Zoroastrian faith. As a result, there are a number of disused towers of silence, which no doubt have an air of mystery around them.

Sandhill Cranes breed in the far north of North America, and overwinter in the southern US and northern Mexico.

There are small separate southerly breeding populations in Mississippi, Florida, and Cuba, as well.
