Following the closure of Pantseat, WEA Hunter have announced that they will be offering an after school ensemble class timetable as part of their program at the Academy of Creative Arts. This program, AoCA Youth, will be launching next week for the start of Term 2. Classes will still be held at WEA Hunter Hall, Laman Street Cooks Hill on a Wednesday afternoon during school terms. Student showcases will be held at the CAS (Creative Arts Space), the WEA's newly upgraded theatre, at the end of each semester in Hamilton. Enrolment into these classes will be available from Thursday morning, 26th April, on the WEA's website - www.weahunter.edu.au Class options will be under AoCA Youth (Academy of Creative Arts Youth). You can email lifestyle@weahunter.edu.au if you have any questions. We would like to endorsed this program and ask you to support WEA Hunter as they continue to support the creative arts community in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to you. Firstly I want to thank you for the love and support you have offered me and Pantseat over the past ten years. Recent events in my personal life have led me to make the very hard decision to end Pantseat, as it is no longer a option for me and my family. This includes all productions, classes and singing lessons. I understand that this will come as a shock and will cause some of you stress and sadness and I am truly sorry for that. I have loved watching the growth and talent of all those involved in Pantseat and I hope that you continue to develop this. YPT, Hunter Drama and Tantrum offer excellent group programs and Eden Dennis, The Voice Studio and Vocal Evolution offer singing lessons. Contact details for these can be found on Facebook.
