Currently trying to figure out if RotBTD is actually getting revived or If it's just my forum throwing every post it can find at me too keep me entertained

I'm thinking it's most likely my forum because it's mostly just hijack and I feel like I'd be getting more diversity with the ships if the fandom was getting revived

( unless it's the hijack art/fics that's reviving the fandom??? )

Is almost every bbc merlin post has merlin x arthur in the tags

The reason this is so funny

Is because they won't even be mentioned in like a third of them

Like it could just be about lancelot and gwen

No mention of arthur or merlin

And there will still be merlin x arthur in the tags

I always forget that theres different types of fic readers out there

Like i saw a fic rec that was like "it's really well written, made me laugh a lot"

And i click thinking it would be something wholesome, maybe a bit of banter or stupidity here and there

Only to be jumpscared by the corn tag...

To be fair its kinda my fault for forgetting E does not mean rated for Everyone but Explicit.

I really need to just read books instead of reading ship fanfics for the plot then dropping a couple chapters after the main ship gets together.

Recently i found myself really upset and kinda down in the dumps that none of the art i posted on my art blog was getting any reactions! Usually i wouldn't care how many likes i get, but the fact i was getting 0?

It honestly threw me into a really unmotivated state and i was wondering what i had done so wrong that even the fan art wasnt getting any interactions whatsoever ever.

Turns out my mainblog visibility settings had been all jacked up making it impossible for people i wasn't following to see my posts!!

with season 3 starting up i figured i should finially start watching fire force

I really enjoy most of the characters and the lore/world building is honestly insane

So obviously the first thing i do after getting to season 2 is look it up on tumblr

You know see what people think

But there's not much activity

And there are there only like 11 Vulcan posts????

Idk why but i figured he'd be a populaur chacter?

Guess that was just my personal bias for the character though ¯\_( •́ -•̀)_/¯

Rewatching class 1 in Korean w/english subtitles while I do work and I've got to say they're are some subtle but differences!

Like when Ahn Soo Ho pulls Sieun off of that one kid

In dubbed he says "Nah, you just woke up a gaurdian angel"

leaving some ambiguity about weither the angel is his or the kid he was beating up

But the subbed says "Me? Im like your gaurdian angel who just woke up from a nap"

Making it clear his intervention was for Sieun's sake, trying to ensure he doesnt ruin his future by assulting (possibly murdering?) this kid any further

Spoilers for Weak Hero Class 1

Here was my honest reaction, and opinion to Weak Hero Class 1

At first I was really excited for Weak Hero Class 1 to be coming out.

I mean it was an awesome webtoon!

Then i watched episode 1 and was utterly horrified

What did they do to all the characters? Everything was completely mixed up!!! I mean I was just completely baffled how you could screw up the characters this much!

( Keep in mind when i read it on webtoon, i was used to the english names and wasn't sure what their korean names would be, so I had to try and peace together, which character was which )

I went to tumblr, all sorts of reveiw sites, even reddit and couldn't find a single complaint about how off script this story was

I was fuming

Then i saw a reddit post claiming Class 1 was meant to be a prelude to Weak Hero, his backstory turned into a live/k-drama adaptation

That cleared up a lot

Delivery boy was the buddy

And rich glasses was the betrayer

Now I was less outraged but still upset

Because what do you mean hes fighting and stabbing people before the rooftop incident???

His buddy is a fighter now???

But okay i guess i can deal with it

I actually quite like what they did to all the characters in his backstory, it gave all the characters more depth, i suppose

Still quite upset about him fighting people already but i can deal with it I guess

Confused about the girl, shes not meant to exist and frankly wasn't entirley needed but she didnt ruin anything.

She was an okay character

this whole time I'm waiting for the rooftop scene

You know the scene behind the whole incident that was the rooftop fight with Wolf

Only to find out they changed it

Or at least they changed the place

Im upset but I guess the trauma response can still be triggered if the fight with wolf is in a gym instead?

But where would the pot/weapon come from?

I guess he could use weights?

Theres really not as much build up if theres no scene of him slowly freaking out while being brought up the stairs though

I don't think changing the placement from the rooftop to the gym was necessary, and honestly I think it will hinder the story telling tension.

I get why you had to make him fight before the coma incident but I also think it does slightly diminish the impact of the friend being put in a coma

I'd give it a 7.5 maybe 8 overall

Because while there were some changes that are kinda gonna screw with some of the story telling/plot it wasnt as bad as I thought it was gonna be after the first episode

part of being in the Daredevil fandom is accepting that at the very least half of the posts you see will be people going absolutely feral over Matt Murdock.

If you dont agree now they will convince you eventually
