Goodbye, Sunglight and little Starlight

Summary: Rumi's father sees his daughter for first and last time. He needs to say his goodbyes.

It's been a week since his Sunglight died. She left their child behind and he, instead of immediately going to see her, just sat in the underworld. He keeps telling himself it's because of Gwi-Ma, if he found out she would be in danger, but he knows it's not true. He's afraid. Of seeing his daughter, of having to look in eyes of his love' sisters.

He takes breath and goes above the surface. He just walks, wanting to think. How should he react to his daughter? What if she cries seeing his eyes?

You're such a horrible father. You shouldn't even show up. It would be better.

He stops hearing voice in his head, heart going cold. It wasn't Gwi-Ma's voice but his own. He hated it. Hated him. He would never allow Gwi-Ma to know about his child existence.

He jumps on top of a roof, going from building to building just getting faster, his mind going overdrive thinking about his kid. He needed to see her. He eventually lands on the balcony of his love apartment. Slowly and quietly, he opens the glass door and walks in.

The atmosphere was eerie as he looked around seeing baby's crib. His heart was pounding as he came closer. Leaning down, he sees his little star in purple onesie just sleeping. She was beautiful. So innocent. He just stared at her, his yellow eyes shining from under his hat.

Baby opened her eyes, staring at him before laughing. Oh, what he would do to protect that laugh. He would fight with Gwi-ma himself.

"Hi... you're Rumi, right? Mama really liked that name." He says quietly. He slowly lifts his finger and puts it towards her to grab her little hand.

Then the sword cuts the air in front of him as Rumi lets out loud cry. He jumps away as he looks eye to eye with Celine, the hatred in her eyes clear.

"You shouldn't have come here." She hisses, standing between him and Rumi.

"You can't keep me away from my daughter."

"I thought you would be smart and just abandon her like demon should. Stop pretending to care. I know you would take her soul." She points her weapon in front of herself.

"I would never do it!" He protests. How dare she suggest it.

Rumi kept crying. He took a step closer, wanting to hold her, but Celine doesn't allow that.

"Stay back! I'm giving you enough warnings." She yells.

"Just let me hold her. Just this one time." He begs, his marks starting to glow.

"No. You will leave and never return. I promised I would protect her."

"From her own father?"

"I'm willing to make sure she doesn't have a father if that what would save her." Celine threatened.

He takes breath. He put his hands up in a gesture of surrender, taking a step back. As Celine puts her weapon down, he strikes, getting past her and grabbing Rumi.

"NO-!" She shrieks as he teleports away.

He hugs his baby, trying to shush her.

"There, there. I'm sorry. I didn't have a choice." He whispers, putting his lips on her forehead. She kept crying as everything was too much for such little girl. Her own marks show up as her cries make Honmoon turn red around them.

Oh no, no. He takes breath as he starts singing, the lullaby that his love taught him. It's something he wants their daughter to know. Slowly, Rumi calms down as she looks at him, one of her eyes yellow.

"There, everything is fine. Papa is here. I... won't be able to be with you through your life. I'm sorry for it but I promise I will never forget you. I will never let anyone hurt you. I will stay under Golden Honmoon you'll create if it means you'll have a happy life." He ruled his finger on her cheek. "Celine will tell you all the horrible things about me. Many that are true but never doubt me loving you."

He gives her one last hug before going back to her room. He had little time before Celine came back. He lays Rumi back in her crib, grabbing her little hand.

"Goodbye, my Starlight."

And with that, he disappeared.

Can you imagine if we get to meet Rumi's father and we get a plot twist where it turns out he was around her, her whole life, or at least on special occasions, taking care of her in small ways? Leaving cookies at the desk when she studies, giving her stars for a good job on her notebook. The things she thought Celine did.

Like Futurama or Maya and the Three.

I think Abby being jealous over Zoey liking Mystery would be great. And her being jealous he pays so much attention to Mira.

The way I had scene between Rumi's dad and Celine that I wanna write.

Watched it. Honesty enjoyed but I have 2 problems:

1. Other Saja boys didn't really add anything. Wish they weren't just masks and could talk with Jinu.

2. It really should have been a series. The built-up would feel more natural.

Also, I expected Jinu to actually come back, ow my heart.

I won't be seeing KPDH till the evening because I'm watching with friends, so I'm blocking the spoilers. Unfortunately, I think I got something spoilered already, so I'll wait and see.
