I am a classical artist, and renaissance man. I have Touretts OCD and PTSD and am a trans man (self-diagnoses are valid here)

Please write a fucking manifesto, that's awesome
I'm not asking you to memorize my pronouns I'm asking you to see me as my gender.
Your perspective: he asked me to memorize his pronouns, and I'm gonna slip up what's the big deal like he looks like a girl I'm trying my best
My perspective: they do not fundamentally see me as a boy, and that is why they are "slipping up"

Just found the first definitive proof of life on Mars, remember, life on other planets doesn't mean anything big, Microbes are just as cool. 🦠

I've seen a lot of people talk about whether touretts is a visible or invisible disability. And I think it's both, tourette's/ tics are such a different experience for everyone, that we should be looking at this from a case-by-case perspective. Which is why I think saying both is valid.
Sometimes I feel like my tourette's is an invisible illness, because people have a hard time spotting it, or I go through periods of not having any tics.
But other times it feels like a very visible illness just from the severity and obviousness of my tics.
Definitely goes both ways

If you're going to gender bend a character stop changing their sex, you're giving them a sex change not a gender switch. You can do both and that's cool and I support it but don't call it a gender change that's saying that gender and sex are the same in that saying if you switch one the other one does too. If you gender bend a cis woman, you're going to get a trans man. If you sex swap a cis woman you're going to get a trans woman. If you do both you're going to get a cis man. Say both or make a trans character. Happy pride

I keep telling my parents that I can't drive, and they keep saying I can because some fucking website said 'tourettes doesn't prevent someone from driving", even though it can, just not for everyone.
Anyway my brother started driving school the other day and the first thing they asked him is if he had seizures or tics. Because if you do you might not be eligible to drive

Able bodied people obsess over a cure for touretts and tic disorders, but shifting solutions for Touretts on to Tourettic people is not okay. Systematic Change over individual change any day.

The same people who laugh at my tics laugh at those weird fill in the blank games. Where you're asked for random words and then you read the story and it sounds stupid.

Like if you laugh at my tics, you love these games

Remember to be radical about how you advocate for you tics.
504s and other accommodations drag us along, not lift us up. Systems should be built for us, we are not an after thought, say fuck you to
-capitalism
-inaccessible transit
-And after thought "suck it up" treatments for tic disorders
And so many more things. Systems advocate for able bodied people every day, it's time to do it for us too.

I keep seeing nerotypicals talk about "cureing touretts syndrome"
But like I don't need a cure, what I actually need is
-People to be educated
-special acomadations
-more accessable infrastructure
-Acseptance
-Money and flexible jobs
those are all things nerotypicals can do to help me now, but they don't want me to have those things.
I feel like they only want a "cure" because it's the only situation in which they don't have to do anything.

" We don't believe your disabled, because if we do we don't want it to limit you."-My Parents. Shocking that my disability has disabled me. Like if I admit that I'm disabled I'll become more disabled.

I don't care if you're wrong about having tics, 50% of us are undiagnosed, I'm not going to exclude 50% of my community just for the principle of it.
If you are wrong that doesn't mean you don't go through the same struggles as us, you just have a different cause for them, so can we just party.
