Parents (especially mums) always care for your safety. You might feel that there’s no reason for them to worry because you can take care of yourself, but there’s no harm in giving your parents peace of mind, by making a little effort to reassure them and show that you’re following all necessary means to stay safe. If your intention is to settle their minds, there’s great reward in that.

Fear Allah is the best advice to give to men when dealing with their women.

Umar ibn Khattab رضي الله عَنه went on to a man who was thinking of divorcing his wife:

“You men! When we marry, we give a serious promise to her. A woman gives birth to children and goes through hard times during her pregnancy. Then she suckles the baby and takes care all nights about her children, when they get sick or need anything. She sacrifices her beauty and youth for being a mother. How fair is it, when her husband leaves her, when she is grown up? If she would have never taken care of her home and family, instead taking care of her body and beauty, her husband would say: “What a bad mother she is.” Where is integrity and loyalty? Fear Allāh regarding your behaviour towards your wives.”

To the Children of War.

Never known a home, Never known clean running water, Never known a full stomach, Never known peace.

Thousands are orphans who’ve never felt the love of a mother. Orphans who’ve never felt the love of a father. Instead of board games and Netflix, they work all day trying to keep their family alive. Trying to live while there’s a constant chance of an indiscriminate missile strike. 75 years mankind has failed Gaza, 75 years we’ve watched as they die and suffer. 75 years we’ve witnessed children starve to death or be victims of ruthless air strikes or even die due to the cold.

Where is humanity?

Wallahi once you lose your salaah, you’ve lost everything of value in the dunya. No amount of temporary pleasures can replace salah.

Growing up as a young Muslim nowadays, you just have to be real. Sometimes you really have to sit and ask yourself if your faith is your top priority. if it’s not, then something has gotta change. Because when pleasing your creator is your top priority, then everything else falls right into place.
