Hi there! It’s petya-and-wolf, I post through that account but somehow can message only via this one :,,-)
I’m happy those silly kitties still can amuse people, and if you really are getting the cheetah for a tattoo, do you mind sending me a picture of the result, please? Any account would work, this one or the op. I’m super curious how it’ll turn out, and hope it will continue to cheer you up! Voilà-voilà
Oh hi! I'd love to show you how it turned out <3 I actually got your permission back in like 2020 to get this design tattooed, and I have sent the result to your instagram as well as that email from two years ago! Thanks for letting me use your funky designs, I'm honestly over the moon I get to keep this buddy on my leg forever haha, I can only hope I am hot-stepping through life with as much jazz as he is :^)
Coming with a huge delay on tumblr, but here’s a little celebration piece marking 1 year since the official release of “Goodbye Robin!”, our graduation film made with a hotpot team of @sophie-barocas @em-damiens @thenaekjlworld Quỳnh-Phương Nguyễn @pettynun Jasmine Veljanovski and yours truly💚
Don’t hesitate to go look at those awesome people’s work here or through the instagram hub of the film’s account goodbyerobin.gobelins
Another bunch of very early stage doodles for creatures, Kai’s buddies.
In our early concept, the memories were stored inside the jelly-like creatures, and the mood of memory would reflect in the creature’s appearance. They were trapped with Kai in the Giant’s belly, and with the mighty teamwork all the little dudes broke free and became friends with the biggest saddest dork, despite having been swallowed by him a long time ago.
We loved the potential of this idea but had to put it aside due to many restrictions of the school film format and for the better clarity of the main message within those limitations. So all the jelly souls were reduced to the memory bubbles.
Still, we hope to give them a second chance somewhere else!
This is only my share of the research, if you want to discover all the various visions we had from the team, please consider following @goodbyerobin.gobelins on Instagram, we have cookies and weekly updates :P
The very first doodles made for our graduation film, when we decided on the fairytalish metaphor of grieving. Kai, the 1/4 of the main character is the pixie-like creature full of wonder and hungry for all types of emotions. Her signature floating hair and starry eyes appeared in the very beginning to help her feel “light”, both “luminous” and “weightless”( English is punny)
And the big sad dude on the last pic is what later became the Big Sad Memory Bubble, the one Kai was hurt by and still accepted.
A pic to celebrate another year with @protopostokolo as hubbo that started yesterday and fell into the planetary conjunction of these two big dorks. Giving that we married on the day of the Mayan apocalypse, this is not a coincidence, this is a BIG EPIC SHIT.
If the planets can be closer to each other through the great distance, so can we.
The movie is out! Our graduation short “Goodbye Robin!” is available to watch on Gobelins’ Instagram , YouTube and Vimeo
Made this little pic to celebrate the moment distantly with my loved ones and my brave team.
Hope that in this time of general tiredness of the confinement and sad news from all around the globe, you could watch this short and feel a little bit warmer and lighter on a personal level. Let’s cherish all the good moments we still had during these months.
See ya!
Welp, according to @goodbyerobin.gobelins breaking news, I have no choice but to accept the reality. I guess from now this is the new look of the film, enjoy 🌚

Hot news, our graduation short made at Gobelins with a magical team will be out on Gobelins YouTube on November 26( this Thursday!) and this is a tiny fanart I made to remind myself of all the emotions this project made us feel.
I’ll try to post more of fanarts and making-of pics once the movie is officially released, but checking out our team’s Instagram is highly recommended!
P.S. If for any reason you haven’t seen the other shorts of our class, don’t be like that, go watch and enjoy!
