Ends of the Earth Chapter 1: Rude Boy
Here's the first chapter everyone! Thank you to anyone who is reading this, I love all of you.
Olympia loved Harry and knew that they would end up being together forever. As she looked upon the polo field where Harry was currently playing a match she thought damn is that one handsome man. His perfectly sculpted arms reminded her of a Greek God, and his ass, oh my god his ass, was something that even if they were to break up —which would never happen— she could never forget. Plus she always liked to tease him about how he was easy to spot in a crowd because of his flaming ginger hair. He made her laugh, but sometimes he made her cry. Today she thought, would not be one of those days. She was at the polo match to support Harry and be the supportive girlfriend that she was.
She knew how stressed Harry had been lately and was glad to see he was getting his aggression out on the polo field. Harry had been working around the clock getting ready for the Invictus Games, and now that they were only a couple weeks away his nerves were only getting worse. He barely slept, barely ate, and would think of nothing else than to make these games a success. She had so much confidence in Harry though that she knew these games would end up being beyond successful. When Harry put his mind towards something, it always came to fruition. There was this time when everyone told him that he would never make it to be a Captain in the Army, but he proved everyone wrong. He was a Captain, her Captain, moving her towards a life with him, a life that she hadn’t known that she wanted, but now couldn’t imagine her life any other way. It was crazy, it was busy, but Olympia had been happier than ever with Harry.
Oh no, she spoke too soon. She spotted them. Paparazzi. There was nothing Harry hated more than paparazzi and Olympia knew this. Her eyes darted from the paparazzi over to Harry who hadn’t yet noticed their presence. Thank God. Trying to keep him in the good mood that he was in from winning todays game, she ran over to him.
“Babe, you were absolutely brilliant out on the field today! I don’t know what your team would do without you and your mad polo skills!” She gushed.
Harry wrapped a muscular arm around her and pulled her close.
“Olly, how much champagne did you have?” He laughed.
“I might have had a few glasses, but that has nothing to do with your superb polo playing abilities Henry!”
“Ok, I’m sure it doesn’t. You ready to leave? We’ve got a long drive back to London.”
Olympia all of a sudden became very nervous. She could see that the paparazzi were, of course, still there. They would be ready to swarm as soon as they saw the couple go towards their Range Rover. Why could they not just be left alone for one day? This wasn’t the first polo game the couple had been at, this wasn’t an unusual site. It wasn’t even one of the first matches of the season for Christ sake! Olympia would never understand the paparazzi that’s for sure.
Olympia thought back to one night about a year ago when herself and Harry were exiting Mahiki, their favourite club.
It had been a great night for them, Olympia had just moved to London, had just been accepted into university, and they were celebrating until last call. It really had been a great night, Harry and Olympia were in their private booth with their friends, Harry enjoying a Jack and Coke, and Olympia drinking a Whiskey Sour both oblivious to the chaos that was already happening with the paparazzi outside as someone had tipped them off to let them know that they were there. While making out at the back of the club was one of their favourite activities, they decided to go out on the dance floor for a little bit with their friends. Their friends, being the amazing people that they were, were mostly shielding them away from the glare of any onlookers and it was like the two were off in their own perfect world of hazy bar smoke and booming music. It was just the two of them in Olympia’s mind. Olympia wasn’t thinking about her upcoming schooling, or how they would be mobbed when they left the club because of Harry the Prince. She was only thinking about Harry’s strong arms holding her to his hard chest and dancing to the beat of Get Lucky by Daft Punk. Between all the drinks the two of them had had it felt like they were the only two in the room. Olympia’s head was pounding, from the music or the booze she wasn't sure, but she knew that soon the two of them would be leaving. Her heart started racing. The night was going really well so far and she didn’t want it screwed up by Harry’s poor temper.
“Harry!” Olympia had to yell in his ear to be heard over the pounding bass. “Lets head out babe!” She said.
“Olly do we have to? We’re here celebrating you, lets stay a bit longer, enjoy the night, maybe do some other… things… in the bathroom?” Harry said to her.
“Harry…” Olympia giggled. “You have no idea how sexy that sounded, how about we leave now though, and I’ll give you what you want when we’re back home?” She said.
“Ok then, sounds like a plan.” Harry smiled thinking of all the things he would do to her later.
Harry’s strong arms grabbed her around the waist leading her towards one of his PO’s, Alex, who was standing by their booth. Olympia saw Harry talk to Alex presumably about them leaving, then all of a sudden there was a PO in front of them and behind them guiding them out of the club.
As soon as Alex opened the doors of the club, Olympia was bombarded by the blinding flashes of light from all the paparazzi waiting for them with their cameras. She loved her life with Harry, she really did, and she would never think of not being with him just because of this life that he was born into. Harry had tried though. At the beginning of their relationship Harry would not stop talking about how much the paparazzi would hound her when their relationship became public and yes, his words did come true. Whenever Olympia went shopping in Mayfair there would always be paparazzi waiting for her. Then, whenever she went with Catherine, the paparazzi situation was even worse, and once they had had George with them and had vowed to never do that again because it was just pandemonium and neither woman wanted to subject an infant to that. With every flash of the bulb from all the cameras, Olympia’s heart started beating faster and faster. Harry was holding her hand, and they were so close to the car when one of the paparazzo’s tripped her, on purpose or not she’d never know. Harry, being the gentleman that he was, made sure she was ok and got her safely into the car. Olympia knew though that Harry was not going to let this situation go. She saw Harry make his way back into the crowd and before she could even process what was going on, she saw him throw his arm back and punch one of the paparazzo.
“Harry!” Olympia screamed as she jumped out of the Range Rover. She wanted to say more to Harry, but knew she shouldn’t in front of all these people and paparazzi. “Harry! Harry! Harry! Come here babe! Stop!” She screamed at him, but there Harry was beating up the paparazzo evidently not caring that everyone was staring and she was trying to get him to stop, and just overall not caring about the chaos he was causing. Olympia had to grab him by the arm and dig her nails into him to get him to pay attention to her.
“Lets go Harry! Please stop!” Olympia said. Harry looked at her and she saw something strange in his eyes. She wasn’t sure what it was, and it really worried her, but now wasn’t the time to think about it, she just had to get Harry back home to Kensington. Harry finally followed Olympia into the car and they both slumped against the backseat absolutely exhausted from the events that had just occurred. Both of them were panting in the backseat. Harry out of exhaustion from his fight, and Olympia because of the absolute panic she was feeling. Her head was pounding now, because of the music, booze, or Harry’s fight she wasn’t sure. Neither of them were talking, they only one talking was Alex, clearly trying to do some damage control. If Olympia was hearing correctly it sounded like Alex was talking to Charles. Charles was not going to be happy about this. Poor Charles. Olympia really loved Harry’s father and felt bad that they were putting him in this situation. Charles had definitely gone through enough with Harry during his life and now they were adding on some more stress.
“Harry?” Olympia whispered, unsure if he had even heard her.
“What?” Harry whispered back, his mouth fixed in a straight line, jaw tightening.
“Harry…” She paused. “What was that? You were really hitting that guy. Do you know how much trouble you’re going to be in? What if that guy presses charges?” She said, starting to hear the panic in her own voice.
“Olly, you don’t understand! That animal could have seriously hurt you! Do you think I was going to just let that kind of thing go? I’ve seen what those vile people can do, and there’s no way I am letting them get to you!” Harry screamed.
“Harry, I understand, but think about what your father and grandmother are going to say, what the press is going to say!” Olympia said, getting more and more exasperated. Then that was it for the rest of the night. The rest of the car ride was spent in silence, Olympia occasionally getting glares from Harry that were so heated that they could melt the polar ice caps. The two of them got back to Kensington Palace, said goodnight to Alex, and they both silently walked to their bedroom. They both got ready for bed, but neither of them acknowledged each other. When they got into bed both were back to back, Olympia silently fuming in her head over what had transpired that night. That would only be their first fight from when Olympia had moved in.
What a welcome to London she had had Olympia thought, bringing her attention back to the polo field. Olympia could feel her heart beating really quickly in her chest. Harry hadn’t spotted them yet, thank God.
“Harry! Olympia! Harry! Olympia!” There it was, the paparazzi were after them. They were getting closer and closer. Olympia was really breathing rapidly when she got shoved backwards by a paparazzo shoving his camera towards her. Before she could even react Harry grabbed her wrist so hard that she yelped, her eyes widening. She wasn’t going to get into it in front of the paparazzi, but she couldn’t believe what had just happened. Harry had hurt her, she could already see the Harry sized bruise on her wrist. Olympia gave Harry a look, and he quickly glanced away as they got into the waiting car. Harry had driven them today with his PO’s following closely behind so that meant there would be no buffer between the two of them.
After getting in the car Olympia said, “what the hell was that Harry?!”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Harry said.
“You don’t know what I’m talking about? Seriously Harry? You don’t see this bruise on my wrist Harry? What is wrong with you?”
“I’m sorry okay! I’m sorry! That guy was hurting you, he almost gave you a black eye with that huge camera of his! I will protect you from getting hurt at all costs Olly.” Harry said. What Harry didn’t seem to realize, Olympia thought, was that he was the one hurting her. The look he got in his eyes when he almost went to attack he paparazzo scared her. The drive back home was completely silent. They were supposed to go out for a celebration dinner for Harry’s inevitable polo win, but that didn’t end up happening. They just grabbed their dinner from the kitchen, and sat in silence on the couch watching TV. The two then again walked up to their bedroom in silence, got ready in silence, and got into bed in silence. Olympia turned over and one tear rolled down her cheek hitting the pillow.
Since her first night in London, Olympia had never seen that look again, but here it was, and she wasn’t going to lie, it made her nervous.

Ends of the Earth Prologue
Hi everyone! This is my story Ends of the Earth which I am both extremely excited, and nervous to show everyone. First I have to give a big thank you to dudeandduchessandspare and phff-wildwintersday who were extremely supportive while I was writing this and coming up with this story. Couldn't have done this without them. I hope you like it, and thank you SO MUCH for reading!
Olympia stood there, her toes wiggling in the soft sand, watching the waves come up to her toes and wash away again. She always stared in wonder at the ocean whenever she was here, astounded that something, anything in the world could be so deep and vast. The colour of the ocean always reminded her of his crystal clear blue eyes that she could drown in. Just as she was thinking about her man, her prince, she noticed his flaming ginger hair coming towards her. She giggled to herself thinking about how she used to think “ughh a ginger.” Who knew it wouldn’t be repulsive to her anymore?
“You know, you will never forget this.” He told her softly. “Plus we can always fly back here whenever we have the time. Maybe we should buy a beach house here. South Carolina is beautiful, I wouldn’t mind spending more time here, with you, on the beach.”
“I think I’ll take you up on that babe. Although a beach house won’t be as nice as our palace.” She joked.
“How many times do I have to tell you, it’s an apartment, not a palace,” Mocking her jokingly.
“Yeah, okay, no other apartment is like your apartment mister. I’m pretty sure my first apartment was 500 square feet. I could pretty much reach out from the shower and flip my pancakes on the stove at the same time.” She said with a shake of her head.
“Your hyperbole knows no bounds darling.” He said laughing.
Olympia grabbed his hand, dragging him down the beach front thinking about the new life in front of her. She was moving to London and while that made her jump in excitement, it also made her cower in fear. She would be moving into a palace no matter what Harry has to say about it being an apartment. She knew she shouldn’t be so nervous, she was moving to London with her boyfriend after all. Her London would be different from almost anyone else’s London though, not many other people would have to deal with photographers at their front door on a daily basis. It wasn’t just that though, she was moving in with Harry, her boyfriend, and moving in generally meant things were pretty serious and would only get more serious. Getting more serious would mean increased scrutiny, but it wasn’t herself that she was worried about it was Harry. She knew how hot headed he could get when it came to her safety. Once, when she was visiting him in London they were coming out of a club and a photographer had gotten too close for comfort to her. Well, that photographer ended up with a broken nose and broken finger.
She tried not to think about that though as her and her Prince walked away into the sunset. For now.
