Yes, Misha was a bit defensive. But I think he also made clear again, that Cas' confession was in fact not platonic AND he also did not say Dean doesn't reciprocate, but was too stunned to reply. So to me it became canon, again.

Btw I think he's absolutely right about seeing not only the bad things (which he says in the attached video). I didn't love the ending, too, but I'm happy we got at least some confirmation of canon Destiel and that we haven't been crazy or delusional for all those years.

Well, just my two cents. And I'm saying this as someone who saw Jaime Lannister running back to his abusive twin sister just to be hit to death by a collapsing castle. Yes, maybe I'm desperate 😂🙈
