Actually wanna talk about your uncledad post cuz i actually don't really ship them either, but for a completely different reason. Cuz i remember seeing a comment that the creator replied to on one of the episodes asking about jake and mr dad possibly having genes from uncle samsonite since the knight had gotten possessed by him in their first battle, and the creator replied saying it would be an interesting theory. And idk that theory has kinda made the whole ship a bit icky for me [ it's not full on disgusting since not even sure if it's gonna be canon in the future or even at all but for now it just kinda gives me the ick. ]

THIS TOO OMFGGG this is my first time hearing that but just hearing that gives me the major ick like I bet the uncledad shippers would find any way to ship it still if that happened which honestly grosses me out SOOOO much but that’s how ppl are with a popular ship ig.

I respect your opinion and I do think you make a good point… I honestly don’t know why I ship them, sometimes I hate myself for it honestly, it feels super cringe, but I can’t really get myself to stop. I acknowledge the fact it is toxic, but I don’t know, I kind of like angst(?) or toxic ships or whatever… most of the time though, I just imagine it as an AU where it’s not toxic but still mostly accurate if that makes sense. Idk I just wanted to throw in my two cents here because I think AUs can be reasonable sometimes………..

He had multiple chances!!!" yeah and he didn't each and every time bc he was stopped, and it's shown that he likes to torment his prey before he actually kills it, not to mention the transformation of becoming him is very slow and the only reason it was so quick for Jake is bc he was probably brought there so many times that it only made it worsen for him (personal speculation) also even just talking about that, thinking of that, the relationship itself would be hella toxic due to the fact that Samsonite only wants the Bowen's for power, so even if it was "genuine", it would be one-sided, with Samsonite probably just playing Mr. Dad for a fool while Samsonite used him to either get closer to stealing Mr. Dad's soul, Jake's, or both if he got lucky. idk this is just my opinion, don't kill me </3
