Firstly after the scoop situation happend, he wasn't home for at least a week. You were considering if you should talk to police about it. You didn't done it because, you knew how Michae didn't wanted anybody else involved in his family cases.

You were so confused when he showed up after such long time, plus he was wearing strange mask that he didn't wanted to take off.

When you saw him face after the accident for the first time he bursted into cry (somehow) and was talking to you about how you propably don't want him around.

You were confused at first, but you took this fact in a good way. He was still your sweet boyfriend and its now you who need to take care of him.

For a few yesrs after that your life with him were slowly going on good way.

At first he was afraid of any sort of touch (hugs, holding hands), but with time you managed to encourage him that he isn't gross for you. That you still love him the same.

Michael was tending to get panic attacks often after being scooped. Fear of being out of control of his body was a huge struggle for him, but you were trying your best to help him calm down.

When he got used to touch again, long hours of hugging was his best comfort. Whether he had hard day or good, you always agree to get him in your arms. In the end you loved him.

Of course you needed to take care of his body, it was kinda a rotting corpse at first.

Strangely for you, the more you were taking care, the more dead body was looking like it was healing. Michael also were admitting feeling better. You didn't really understood that, but it makes you happy that you managed to do something good for your boyfriend.

You were figuring out how eating now works for him, but suprisingly it was just the same as before.

Michael insisted to rarely go out, so now you were the one to do shopping.

Even if Michaek were still going after his family problems, you were trying to slow him. You knew how much he went through. You just wanted him to not suffer more.

Yours and his daily routine was starting with getting bandages on Michael and ending on the same thing.

Another quick shot at fast scene with Michael, because why not causing a bit of chaos.

Summary: Reader and Michael are together. Everything is the sams expect Michael started to coming home later. It started to repeat so reader asked what was that and so Michael showed reader what was keeping him after hours away from home.

Reader can be any gender if you don't mind wearing a dress.

When Michael told you that, he would like one day to show you something that he is doing after hours, when he is gone and you don’t even know yourself where he is, you didn’t expected things to turn out this way. That was quiet an interesting experience. You were always seeing him as the rather quiet guy, who was solving family mysteries and couple of hard cases. You would rather see him alongside the robots then on the stage.

“Woah what is this place…” you said when Michael took you inside some kind of weird bar, maybe pub or even dance club? Depends from what angle you look at it. Either way it was definitely a very lively place, which wasn’t resembling Michael type a lot.

“Definitely a nice place, sweetheart. Now c’mon get yourself here” Michael pushed into you some kind of room, that was serving a purpose of changing room. The room had second door that had a sign “stage” on it. That got you to know what exactly was supposed to happen.

“Wait, wait… Are we going on stage? You were singing on stage when you were gone?” the wave of confusion got around your brain.

“And do you think why I got you to sing for a past few days?” Michael asked while searching something in a nearby drawer.

“I don’t know, I just thought we were having fun doing that. That song was pretty catchy”

“I just want to show you something even more fun and magical, darling” the way he was saying word “darling” was always the guarantee to convince you to his decisions. He just had the charm that was working on you just right.

“Fine, fine” you rolled your eyes. “But what if my manager will hear about me doing such thing? He doesn’t like his workers getting in such underground stuff. You know that I don’t want to loose this job. It’s pretty well paid”.

“I thought about it” Michael handed you a pretty mask. Purple mask for only upper part of the face. Pretty gold details were going alongside it. “Also have you dressed yourself in something unexpected?”

You got the mask in your hand. While delaying your answer you were carefully watching the mask. It was so pretty, it got all your attention to the point that Michael needed to shake your arm a bit to get the answer.

“Ah, yes. I’ve got something I didn’t had on for literally ages” you said and then finally pulled off your coat. Sight of you in a beautiful, short, black dress with addition of fishnets showed in front of your boyfriend’s eyes. It was indeed a rare sight, you didn’t liked wearing dresses. It just didn’t felt right.

The silence around you two was disturbed by music from the stage calling closely two guests to step on. That didn’t stopped Michael from getting closer to you. Gently putting one hand on your hip and second on your thigh. Having you in his hands, you got pinned into the wall. The moment of silence ended a small kiss from him and later his words “You look stunning, now just repeat what we were doing at home”

Your cheeks were slowly getting hotter and your heart beating faster. Ah that Afton. “I will try”

“Good” Michael smiled and then putted the mask on your face. “Let’s get going’

Even beside that bit of confusion and stress you rocked the song perfectly. It was really an amazing experience exactly how Michael said it. Also the song wasn’t the only thing that you rocked this night.

I am working on my project right now, which will be retelling FNaF story in a fan comic. There will be characters that you well know like William Afton, Michael Afton, the nightguards but also the characters that are additions of mine. You can take it as alternative universe. I will post characters day by day (not every day) until April 2nd or when I will run out of characters. My story telling skills sucks, so i believe that small background on characters will be better for the story! Hope you will stick together with me and get interested. Afton family headcanons

Love me some good old family accidents.

Even if we are talking about William here, Mrs.Afton was a lot more scary and had actual power in this household. William himself feared her when she was angry.

Henry wasn't relating to them by blood, BUT Afton's kid were treating his as uncle and same goes for Will towards Henry kids.

That one time Elizabeth saw Michael learning how to kiss with the pillow and took a picture of it.

Since this time, when she wants something she knows how to convince Michael.

I feel like Evan (C.C will be called like that there) would be real good at chess, but i mean real good. Everybody would loose to him.

Elizabeth one time painted Evan's and Michael's nice and now the boys started to do it every week.

Elizabeth's nails invention catched a few girls attention for Michael. He is for sude grateful.

William would be that type of parent that would brag about his kids achievenents ar every possible occasion.

Every single of Afton kids definitely stayed a lot in school after hours. William for sure had tendency to forget about when pick up the kids.

Elizabeth was a favourite child, thats a fact.

Paying younger siblings to do your homework? - that's exactly what Michael used to do.

If Mrs. Afton was ever mad at anybody at house, she wasn't shouting or doing agressive movements. She was just using a silence treatment. This method was working like a miracle. Everyone feared when this woman was silent.

Michael was a mommy's boy, definitely. Asking her for advices or helping her out as much as he could.

Evan had that one hole in the wall, through which he could see inside of Michaels room. Sometimes was peeking through it out of pure curiosity, but once Michael noticed it, then Evan got scared for life.

That one time Michael "lend" movies from local store for him and his siblings.

Everything was fine until the shop manager called William and said that his son stole 3 CDs.

Michael mastered avoiding punishment from their father.

Elizabeth did too, but she had more privilage.

Evan always wanted to be like Michael, so brave and amazing (of course in his eyes).

One time when Mike was out, Evan got to his room and started trying on his clothes and trying to act like him in the mirror.

Mrs. Afton loved every child equally.

When William was too busy, Henry was always taking kids on a ride. Too some park or forest, lake. They had the most fun.

Mrs. Afton was a proffesional ballet dancer.

Naturally after that Elizabeth was signed to dance lessons since she remember.

Michael Afton x reader fanfiction AU

Summary: Thing takes place in 2017 (timeline just changed). All Afton kids are alive, nothing bad happend. Michael is in his 20s, Evan is 15 and Elizabeth is 12. William is not a killer, he is just a succesful co-owner of Fazbear's company. Reader is also in their 20s. Michael and Reader lives together in small modern flat in the centre of big city. Mike has a stable job in advertisment company. Lately reader quitted their job due to their problems with lack of sleep, depression and strange "visions" for which they need to take lots of meds. Reader can be any gender.

You saw it very well, the shadow of the same golden suit you see every night in your dreams. The same screams, always so exhausting and terryfying to hear and in the end the same retro building. You had no idea what is this place and where this place is. All you have known is the one scene. Killer in golden suit, five kids, lots of blood and... It would be just really annoying nightmare if not his voice. You had no idea how but it sounded like your boyfriend's father. Every time getting more and more realistic. With the first dream like this you just ignored it. You didn't thought much about it, but now... The thing haunts you for the second year in the row. Without meds you wouldn't be able to live at least a bit normal. Even with meds "visions" started to show infront of your eyes even when you weren't asleep. This made you quit your job at local sun-themed daycare. You can't take care of the kids when you are not able to take care of yourself. Of course you weren't alone with your problem. Michael was really supportive through everything. He helped get you diagnosed and was there everytime you needed him. If you felt bad and needed company, he was even going off work sometimes to see you and make sure that you are fully safe.

This time it was night, a night that was an entrance to the weekend. Friday nights were usually peacefull, but this time it was different. Unusual spike of the sound made you open your eyes. You were in your bedroom sitting on the bed. Michael was sleeping next to you like he always do since you two started to live together. Darkness was all around you, but the spike of the sound occured again. It wasn't first time but it was as unsettling as always. Your stress level was getting higher, because you still weren't able to see anything. Natural thing was to blink right now, but that was also a mistake. The form of the same golden suit was forming before your eyes. This time completely destroyed, blood on the floor, his voice sounding like his voice cords were smashed down. "His" because he again had voice of your boyfriend's father.

" It was not supposed to be this way" the abomination infront of your eyes was reaching it's destroyed hand towards you. "I tricked your mom, I manipulated her. She forgot all her beliefs. You will fall next"

You weren't able to move at all. You felt something hard being pressed against your lungs. Breathing was becoming way more harder then ever.

"I had to do it. I wasn't bad. I had to do it" figure infront you was breaking down. "Don't repeat it" It was the last thing you heard after your hard breathing woke up Michael.

He knew full well what was happening again, so he done what was working out well. Michael wrapped his hands around you in a gentle hug. It was always helping you. Michael's touch was that one thing that was connecting you back to reality. The string that connects back to life.

The paralysis was slowly going out of your body. In a few minutes of gentle hug of your boyfriend you fulky came back to consciousness.

"This thing... Happend again?" Michael whispered as quiet as he could.

"It was different this time..." your voice was still cracking.

"How that, sweetheart?"

"He was... H-he was bleeding and he was talking about my mom" you were struggling to bring words out of your mouth. "H-he was talking a-about being... manipulative towards her. I-i don't know!"

"Hey, hey! Take it easy... We have lot of time to talk" Michael's hug became a bit tighter. "I am here all the time"

"I'm... just scared, that she might be in danger too"

"Don't worry your pretty head. For it to be true it must have been another realm or another reality" he was trying be taking it in joke-like way, to make situation more easy to bare.

"Hey... Mike?"

"Yes, darling?"

"Do you think that another realities or world exist...? Y-you know... The worlds where we are someone different or slightly else" this question now took place in your mind.

"I am not a scientist, but... Such places may actually exist. We may not know yet but maybe somehwere in the universe is version of me that is a great cook" last sentence was just a joke, because in currenf reality Michael is horrible in kitchen.

"But seriously... What if somewhere my mother had deals with your father?" You hugged your face tightly into Michaels chest, preparinf yourself to fall asleep again.

"That's impossible, your mom works with criminal cases and my dad is just a pizzeria owner. Your mom is too smart and my dad is too much of an asshole" Mike giggled a bit. A smike formed in his face seeing your face gettinf all sleepy in this warm hug.

"Michael...?"

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"I love you."

Woah, first attempt at short AU in English. It took a bit of time, but it wasn't that bad. Simple idea, but fun too. Gotta learn more to make better stuff.

Reader-Insert Fanfiction Survey

Hi there guys! This account is just a throwaway so don’t mind the formalities :]

I’m an AP Research student, and my study is identifying types of self-development that can be produced from reading self-insert fanfiction. And just to clarify, “reader-insert as in the reader ("y/n”) is placed into the story since this is more about fanfiction readers than writers.

If you’re between the ages of 16-25 and read self-inserts on Archive of Our Own or Tumblr, it would really help me if you could fill out my survey! The link is at the bottom, and depending on how thorough you want to be about your answers, it may take 10-20 minutes (not all questions have to be answered). This is for a class so my survey went through an ethics review and every participant will have to sign a consent form. For underage participants (16-17), you’ll need parent/guardian consent and you’ll also have to fill out an assent for yourself.

Fanfiction has always been an interesting topic for me. While I don’t write fanfiction myself, I’ve been reading for several years and the idea of fanfiction itself and the community just fascinates me! I’ve read self-insert fanfiction before and incorporating it into the subject self-awareness and development seems new to the fanfiction research community, so I aim to add on to the small (but growing!) list of works.

I’ll most likely be taking responses up until around mid-March, 2022. Please consider sharing or reblogging this, even if you can’t or don’t wish to participate yourself. I’d really appreciate any and all responses!!

If Michael got a design there, William is also getting it. However to be honest i made will first, but i couldn't portray him fully. He kept looking so goofy in my art and he still do, but i think these ones aren't that bad and shows idea of him.

Longer hair in the family, yes sirrr. Couple angles of Wills face and his younger self in the upper corner. He isn't extra pretty. He was supposed to have vibe of that genius rich inventor devoted to his plan :D. The design itself us very much fanon.

Well, if i done x reader headcanons for Mike, then his father can't be left behind. Reader can be any gender.

Tea time - the most important part of the day. Around comfortable for him hour he always sits down and drink tea while reading a newspaper or making notes in his notebooks.

He has tons of notebooks himself. He likes to do entry of many things he do.

Tends to over attach to things, but won't admit that. That pen which stopped working year ago? You can't just throw it into trash, he was writing important stuff with it.

Has a fear of forgetting. He is constantly checking on himself to see if he didn't forgot about anything important.

Absoletely hates pizza, but won't say that around Henry.

Had a crush on Henry way before his killing spree started, but as he was descending into madness the more thia feeling was turning into pure hate.

Completely charming way of talking. Co-worker, stranger, family, partner - no matter to who he was talking he was sounding so convincing.

He sometimes paints in his free time. He is really skilled in portraying human anatomy.

His marriage with Mrs. Afton was fully arranged. Their families was a succesfull ones, so their parents thought it is a good deal for future. With time however, he grew to get used to her company and started to fulfilling her wishes. You can count having children into that.

After his first killing he started to be way more better to his family and spending more time with them.

Elizabeth death was completely traumatising to him. At one point he thought to scrap all the killing plans away and just make sure that everybody's safe.

Small dump of headcanons about everything and nothing, just my personal stuff i think of this precious boy.

Defitely later on had a mullet or wolf cut.

Had a bit troubles with seeing but refuses to see eye doctor.

Loves to watch all types of soap opera, romantic comedies or dramas. Always so emotional while watching them.

Still has that one plushie that he tends to sleep with, if he sleeps alone.

Sarcastic sometimes, but if for people close to him is really sweet and helpfull.
