i started book 3 today and i'm literally so obsessed with him. gay people you know

#liu yao spoilers #in tags #guy who buried cheng qian and was absolutely convinced he would never returned #but also gave him a room in his new estate identical to his old room #and bought him a priceless treasure ribbon enchanted so that it would take the fatal hit instead of cheng qian (even though he was dead)#and painted a portrait of him every day for a century so he could honor him according his their sect's traditions #but destroying the portrait every time before he finished because he couldn't get over the fact that cheng qian never got to grow older #and who crafted for himself a copper ring enchanted to have an illusory form of cheng qian #which he used to mock and punish himself #who dreamed of being fast and protecting cheng qian and shoving him behind him so constantly #that when they finally did reunite even though every part of yzm was unresponsive in shock #his body still remembered his regrets and did the motion he always wish he did #literally insane #what the fuck #pip speaks

No pressure at all to answer and/or publish this if you don't want to, but for a while, I've been collecting all of the Tai Sui fanart I can find on @taisuiartgallery, and I thought it might be something you'd want to see. All (or very close to all) of the Tai Sui art on tumblr is now collected on one blog and pretty thoroughly sorted/tagged for easy perusing.

Given that you're by far tumblr's most prolific Tai Sui artist, and your followers are like half the Tai Sui fandom, it seemed like something it'd make sense to share with you? Your art/comics have all been reblogged there, as has a lot of really cool stuff by some smaller artists, and I want to share the joy that is Shiyong images :D

#very vague ff16 spoilers in tags #mixed feelings about certain aspects of the game #and by mixed i mean bad #but overall i had a lot of fun #and the game also had some of the coolest moments i've played through in like. any video game #i dont usually replay video games but i will be replaying this one on ng+ when the dlc comes out specifically for those moments #i cannot emphasize enough how out of the world cool those moments are #also the game is very fun!! big fan of the parry system. dodging is a little too easy #also ff16 has dion. goty just for that. love my boy #(guy who is weak to every character trope that dion is)#(AND he's gay)#(AND he's a DRAGOON)#(AND HE CAN TURN INTO A DRAGON!! BAHAMUT!!!!!)#pip speaks #also. i didn't make use of these but the game does make itself very accessible #both by having an annotated subtitle option for hard of hearing folks #but also by having an option to make the gameplay very easy for people who are there just for story reasons #which makes me happy :]#one week until the ost comes out and i can blast my head clean off my shoulders >:)#soken beloved i love his video game music so much
