i adore reading f1 books because they contain some absolutely nuts facts. here are a few:

ayrton senna and ron dennis couldn't agree on how much money he got, so they did a coin flip for several million dollars. ayrton also had no idea what a coin flip was, since they weren't customary in brazil, so had to have it explained to him.

the longest track ever used for an f1 race was nearly 16 miles long.

bill vukovich led three quarters of the indy 500 laps he drove.

jack brabham won the 1959 world championship by pushing his car (which had run out of fuel) over the finish line.

without seb's retirement, we could've had:

sargeant not in f1 as a consequence of de vries at williams—since the previous williams team principal was the one who promoted him in the first place, and due to james vowles' known animosity towards him, it is unlikely he would've chosen to promote him in future years.

gasly and tsunoda remaining at alphatauri

piastri may have still ended up at mclaren since mark webber would have likely still looked for other options particularly if alonso and ocon had remained at alpine

ricciardo remaining at mclaren, or ricciardo still being fired and replaced possibly with one of mclaren's reserve drivers.

mon chéri = masculine, used for masculine people

ma chérie = feminine, used for feminine people

mon chérie / ma chéri = grammatically incorrect

sadly french only offers two grammatical genders, so the default is always masculine.

last series - uhhh i almost never watch series, i think probably the netflix asterix and obelix with my family. i did watch a neat documentary about nascar at the 24 hours of le mans last year but that wasn't a series

favourite crisp flavour - barbeque. i recently found out that my childhood favourite flavour had recently changed its recipe to be gluten free but my dad doesn't want to buy american products so i have not eaten them. so it's barbeque.
