Third-person POV

One day, in the city of Ebbot, lived a girl named Frisk, she was a normal girl that can use magic like everybody else, but what made her so special was she had 5 different types of magic, she has mind-reading, mist, nature, and the other two we shall tell another time.

It was a Sunday morning, Frisk went to the café her mother used to work at, ah her mother, she was a very kind lady, always helping people in need, but a lot of people dislike her. Why?

Well, it was because she socializes with monsters, most Humans have fear and pure disgust for them, some have a neutral feeling for them, and some adore them, and Frisk's mother adored them, she was close to the Royal family of monsters, King Asgore and Queen Toriel, but suddenly she just vanished into thin air, Until this day, no one knows what happened to Frisk's mother, not human or monster, It was still a mystery to this day.

But, Frisk always had a positive spirit and let go of her mother's disappearance, she arrived in front of the café and noticed there was a poster for a magic show in Nova Square, (Nova square is a place where humans and monsters live together, and yes, the kingdoms are divided into three halves, one for humans, one for monsters, and one for both)

She looked at the poster and it said, 'come one and all, humans and monsters to the Magic Monsters show! Starring MTT as the MC, And the Skeleton Brothers as the last performance of the night! It will start on Wednesday! So buy your tickets, VIP tickets, and come see us there!'.

The Magic Monster show, Frisk thought about going there once or twice, but she always has something to do and have no one to go with, so she didn't even think about going.

She ordered Jasmine tea and read her book while sitting outside the café, She ponders about random things for a few minutes until someone tapped on her table, Frisk Looked up, only to be greeted by a smiling face with red cheeks.

Chara.

"Hello there Frisk, mind if I sit with you?" The girl just nodded, she and Chara were childhood friends, so they went way back, Chara was one of the kids who talked to Frisk at the orphanage, yes, an orphanage, they both lost their mother at a very young age.

"How are you frisk?" Chara asked "ah, I'm good" Frisk answered shortly, Chara was up to something, and Frisk knew that the Chara she knows wouldn't have a small talk with anyone without having some sort of wanting.

"Spill it Chara, we both know that you wouldn't do a small talk without wanting something" Chara pouted at frisk "aww, you know me so well" the both of them just giggled, " ok, so, I was hoping you would accompany me somewhere out of the town" oh? Chara wasn't much of a traveler, I mean cmon, she was even lazy getting out of bed while almost being late for her classes, "oh? and where is the location going to be?" Frisk was very curious about where Chara would take her.

"its a surprise, duh" Chara replied, Frisk just smiled at her best friend, she would love going out exploring, but she has a job as a library keeper and she needs to finish her test tomorrow, "Chara I don't think I ca-" "I already bought the tickets so there's no going back now" Frisk sighed at her best friend, in the end, Chara always has it her way, but sometimes it turns out great and fun, sometimes.

"Alright, but I can't go from 9 AM to 2 PM, you got it?" she looked at Chara who has a confident face " don't worry Frisk, I already know your schedule, so I booked the train at 5 PM so you have enough time to pack your stuff" Chara answered happily,  "how long are we gonna stay in this 'trip' that you planned?" Frisk asked, she wasn't quite sure how long she can ask for a leave to the manager of the library, so it better not be too long, "chill Frisk, it's only for 2 weeks, plus I think we'll have a great time there" again, Chara said confidently.

"Alright, I need to go to the library, bye Chara!" "Bye Frisk!!" Frisk waved at her best friend, she could only hope and trust her best friend that this trip would go well.
