My rare days off (such as today) usually include paperwork, taxes, bills, renewing medical licenses, etc. In short my days off rarely ever are. They’re usually little more than time to catch up on the day to day demands of life which go unattended to while I’m at college or work. Today I carved out 30 minutes to actually paint. Even if it’s just a little sketch of some clouds rolling by. I guess it’s my one small act of self care during the semester. Luckily things will get better. During the mayhem I’ve been forging plans to up my game in the coming months.
