My birthday is next month, and I need to say this here because it made me sob with joy. My partner and best friend commissioned the English VA of BSD! Nikolai Gogol to make a personalized video for me. He gave me a pep talk and said nice things, because I have been struggling a lot.

I’ll be reopening my Etsy soon! I’ve decided to pretty much close commissions permanently, they’re very hard for me to do.

I’ve missed posting here and talking to my friends a lot. I’m coming out of a bad place so it’s been a lot of work and I’ve been exhausted. Which is also why I’m closing coms for the foreseeable future.

It’s genuinely been a long time. I missed this feeling so much, I really put my heart and soul into to this piece.

I’ve been gone so long, also I saw my blog name changed and I don’t remember when that happened. But I can’t use it again as it has been used ????? That’s okay,

But I am “now” disabled and unable to work due to a plethora of disabilities - including complications from arthritis, EDS, and general chronic pain. I can barely walk more than like, 300 feet and I need a cane and have a wheelchair. I’m still waiting on the ssa to make a decision on my disability claim which will probably be a nightmare.

I moved to Maryland to live with my partner, my life has improved significantly. I have more time to draw when I’m not in agony lmao

I’ve had a history of ditching social media accounts and remaking/deleting accounts because of how bad my mental health was. And I’m now much more stable and not doing that anymore.

My life living in my previous home state was a nightmarish hellscape and I’m happy I’m out. I’m out of survival mode and now I can focus on my health 100% and trying to reclaim my life

My cat also died like, less than a month before I was going to move and that has really been hard for me. He was my best friend for 14 years and he’d been getting sick on/off. I knew it was coming but idk. It still doesn’t feel real. My partner and I adopted a new kitty and he’s such a good cat. One eye, and appropriately named Zuko.
