i think it just hits home. but i think its also very important to showcase the type of struggles a character like that faces, because its never always sunshine and rainbows.

fun fact, it sounds like Elliott and Sunshine were specifically doing a Star Trek: Enterprise roleplay, since thats the only series besides maybe Lower Decks(?) that has a decontamination room (since the transporters in ENT didnt have the built-in biohazard/virus detector that the other transporters do in the older series)
