plural culture is one of our headmates telling our parents/abusers about our system and getting therapy revoked for "not being confused/switching enough" and "faking something so serious" :(

Fictive culture is somehow missing people you've technically never even met.
Like- it still feels real, even when I know it's not. 😮‍💨 I just wish psuedo-memories weren't so intense sometimes.
I definitely understand that man, hang in there buddy

Plural culture is those complicated *** social dynamics created by the person interacting with a variety of alters and never knowing you're a system.
🍊 is sensitive & cheerful
🍓 is out to be a menace whenever possible
⭕️ is defensive, fragile, and boyish
⚪️ is an open book, sensible, and gal like
And I'm over here like 😐
A walking contradiction is plural culture.

Psychotic plural culture is being unable to tell the difference between factives and delusional attachments (going through that rn, we can't tell if I'm having a delusion or have discovered multiple factives)

Note
Plural culture is being too scared to talk about interactions you've had with other alters because you don't want people to think you're just roleplaying with yourself (also something we've unfortunately been told by fake claimers)
I'll never understand why ppl seem to think we can't interact with each other
We share a brain and a body
There's gonna be some form of interaction

DID culture is being more interested in your internal world/headspace than the external world. Just totally and genuinely being uninterested in anyone or anything outside of your system.

Plural culture is reading old diaries of a period of your life that you don't recall at all and being left with mixed feelings. Reading each diary page and they all seem written by different people, with different writing styles, moods, taste and opinions. You fully realize that you were never alone, you all lived through it and it's scary but also comforting

Note
Dissociative plural culture is learning something important, and actively feeling it slip away because the other people in your brain won't let you keep it.
Knowing that it's important and knowing that you don't get to keep it because it's potentially harmful. And knowing that it's to keep you safe but still feeling angry that you don't get to make the choice.
Making the decision to stop fighting when it happens, because at least then you can pretend that you're choosing this - 🐦
It's the worst feeling in the world

Note
plural culture is not only having amnesia and forgetting things easily, but what we do remember is always so blurry and unclear (which also makes it hard for us to recognize if we have pseudo-memories or not, and if we do we'll always doubt if it's just our imagination or not,,)

Plural culture is engaging in your thoughts, until it suddenly strikes you, and you're like "wait that's not MINE thoughts" and then you're back to normal, but still aware of those thoughts.
