this is my "Dreamer" insert, Figment! Dreamwalkers have been my favorite kind of magic user for years so I’m absolutely thrilled to have a canon listener that’s a dreamwalker!!

posting my listener designs kinda terrified me, so I’m going out of my comfort zone here, so we’ll see how this goes ahaha

I saw a post by I think @poedays that said they would wear clothes with skeleton designs and I took that and ran, I think that is such a cool head canon and I knew I wanted to include it in their design!

now for some head canons I have for themmmmmmmm: (warning, this is about to be a lot of rambling)

when Quinn attacked them and their sister, they were wearing a pair of long sweat pants that covered their prosthetic, Quinn, being an idiot, bit down on the metal, and it really hurt him because chomping on metal would h u r t :D

speaking of Quinn and that whole stick, my Dreamer insert looks quite similar to my Darlin insert (maybe one day I’ll actually make a ref sheet for them lol) and that is intentional! I think the people Quinn attacks all resemble Darlin in some way, like how some serial killers have a "type", and so I made a connection with those two listeners in their design.

to cope with being latent growing up they made this whole animated pilot show that they posted on YouTube with a character having to navigate and travel through a magic world without any magic, and instead of the old "and they magically get powers trope" (yes, they now see the irony given their powers finally manifesting) the main character made gadgets for themself, the show got super popular online

After they came out as transfem they grew their hair out really long, buuuut in the dreamscape the asset had short short hair, after coming out of the dream, they cut their hair because they no longer felt like themself with long hair

they daydream a lot, and sometimes they accidentally start making facial expressions. Yes, I am projecting :)

when they have a bad day they impulsively dye their hair, they have a bunch of shirts that look tie dye but are in fact just stained from a bunch of hair dye.

Corvus is going to say “Hello, friend. :)” “We are friends, are we not?” “That’s what friends do.” “I enjoy being your friend.” “You become happier when I call us ‘friends’.”
