I have the thickest of skins but yet I can’t breathe

Was I just a disappointment 🥺😔

Pain in my eyes just to hear all the lies 🥀🖤♾️

I’m not the perfect girl everyone around me wants me to be

I’m tired

I often feel wired

Caught up in the flames of who I am

Questioning today whether or not am I the person I can’t stand

I can’t change I can’t relate

I wanted my faith in who I was to stay

But how can I when all I do is be depressed

My life is starting to stress

Because I’m not the picture perfect girl they wanted me to be

And for once I wanted them just to accept me

For being well me

Self conscious thoughts running in my mind

Can’t wait till the end of the day so I can stop pretending like I’m fake

I’m starting to lose all faith

I can’t face the person I am

Reality settling in and realizing who I am

Am I a lost cause

Should I just hit the rewind button and hit pause

Because the truth of it all is I’m dying on the inside

Because of all the incredulous lies
