FLOWING

You can't keep a lid on them,

From the smallest thing, they stem

They will always sprout,

Them, you can't live without,

They grow from seeds to saplings, then bloom

They need to be let out, they don't spell doom

Emotions are a part of life

In joy or in strife.

Let them out

Let them flow;

Don't stand stout

Let it be slow.

Don't let them seep out or leak,

Let them openly speak

It's better not to hold them in

Wear them on your skin.

Be accepting and welcoming,

Or else, it is corcerning

So, don't stop them from showing

Keep the feelings flowing.

PRECIOUS

You, money can't buy

Only with efforts, I can try.

You matter the world to me

My all, is for you to see

Your words, always I keep in mind

As always, ever so kind

You are there, when I am in a bind

Time spent with you, I won't unwind

You being there gives me joy!

You being all sweet on coy.

Your savagery can be ravaging

But the feelings we aren't staging

It's all so real

All so true

My true nature, I can only reveal

In front of you

You are gift in my life

You always help me through strife

I will do all I can, to keep you here

Don't want to see you, shed a signle tear

Thank you, for being a part of my world

You, very close and dear I hold

STAR

A celestial being you truly are!

I want you always near not far.

Descended from the heavens,

Always busy in your divine missions

Wanting to get a hold of you,

Is nothing but a dream.

But I want you through and through

It's not just a whim!

You burn so bright

Dispersing all your light

You love their look of delight.

But burning yourself out

For helping, you are so devout.

Seeing you are always afar

Out of my measly reach.

Am I on par?

For the wall to breach

I wish you would be mine

Your light, I want to see shine!

Some day, my wish shall come true,

To be bathed in your hue.

Hopefully, there won't be any woes

Don't know, what the universe shows

This thought, comes and goes

But only in one direction, time flows.

Time goes by in a swish,

I have only one wish

To feel your presence

To drown in your essence.

Even if you may be very far

You, are my dusk night's only star.

EXHAUSTED

It has been a long day,

Did I come a long way?

No way to know,

Resigning myself to the flow

Walked the path;

So very long and arduous

I feel dubious.

Can't remain stalwart,

Beliefs being led astray,

Struggling in the fray.

Amidst all the conundrum

All senses feel numb.

This layer needs exfoliation

But is that really a solution?

The calluses build up,

The liveliness, it will usurp

Battered and all bruised;

But still through it all

I cruised,

I have yet to fall.

But it all builds up

It takes its toll,

Makes a person warp

Doesn't fill the gaping hole.

The fatigue kicks in

The tiredness starts to win,

That's when it's obvious

Don't be oblivious!

Inside you feel the implosion;

It settled in, the exhaustion.

DROOLING

Affixed in a place

I have no pace.

Stuck in absolute stasis

But in my mind, I see an oasis,

For this I see no basis

I am stuck in a chrysallis

Will I be able to come out;

Move about,

I have no clue

All of my body is covered in glue.

To this bed, I am stuck

By my agony being constantly struck.

Being unable to find inner peace

Covered in unmoving fleece,

Being trapped in a net

Myself I can't vet.

I am at a point of no return,

I am ready for my turn,

To rest in the urn

All ready to burn.

But still I remain hoping

Waiting for the day, when I will be again moving

Unlike the vegetable I am, lying down drooling.

CHICKEN

Trapped in a coop

I feel like I am stuck in a loop!

Surrounded by cages,

My heart rages.

I want to see the sky;

I want to see the vastness!

I am too scared to try,

Alone I sit and cry.

Trapped in my own bubble

Trying to stay out of trouble,

Will there be solace?

I feel like I am in a furnace?

Surrounded by creatures of familiarity,

But there is no similarity!

Am I being led astray?

Am I just a stray?

Should I stay?

Or should I sway?

To be honest,

I am slow.

I am not the brightest,

I know.

Don't want to give into cowardice

I know its just a gist

But I know I won't feel bliss

I really wish for an iron fist!

Birds of the same feather flock together,

Why can't I bother?

I know, I can't win

I am a wee little chicken!

SPELL

Bound and mystified

A synonym will be stupefied

Entranced and entangled;

My mind is all mangled.

Lost in the melody

Trapped within the harmony,

I can't give an accurate stipulation

This is unwarranted stimulation!

I feel spellbound

Stuck on your scent,

I am a hellhound

On you hellbent!

Everywhere, I see your trace

Whenever and wherever, I see your face

This feeling was unbeknownst!

But I feel it foremost,

For you head over heels I fell;

Apprehended by your spell!

ROASTED

Flared and burnt

Over and over turnt.

The flame seeps in

The heat flows through,

Pain is your kin

The flare gives the cue!

What you don't know

For the flame to burn through

The scars do show!

Through the depths of hell

There is no healing well,

You feel dried to a crisp

You wish, it was a willow o wisp.

Having been burnt so long

You know in hell you belong

Being set on a pyre

You shall burn till the last wire

You would be well toasted

Flavoursomely roasted!

TRANQUIL

The storm keeps raging

The hope keeps fading,

The winds roll over

You just run for cover,

You are pelted by rain

Any effort for shelter feels in vain.

But the heart remains strong

You know, nothing will go wrong

You wait out;

You bide your time.

In your heart hope sprouts

You hear the soothing bells chime.

The storm starts to stave

The uneasiness does behave.

Your heart feels calmed

By positivity it's swarmed,

You feel the sunlight kiss your soul

Inside you feel whole.

A soft breeze blows,

Throughout it flows

You know how you feel,

All over you are tranquil.

POISONOUS

Following with a blow

It begins slow

The puff you inhale

To realize, you fail.

As it weaves through the passage

Giving a simple, short message

It fills you up with bliss!

It's a feeling you will miss.

The euphoria creeps in,

Wanting pleasure isn't a sin.

The feeling spreads all over!

The feeling is somber

The excitement doesn't last long

In this kingdom you want to belong

It's wearing out!

It's going away!

You can't forget what it's about,

You scream in agony, 'Please Just Stay! '

This is something you can't live without,

Even if it's very dangerous,

You love it no matter what;

Even if it is poisonous.
