Precipitation appreciation
Wow. I've been sitting on the porch, listening to a soft rain and the hum of the beehive. (the bees live inside the porch pillar)
The seeds and transplants are in the garden, except for a few fall crops that get planted later. The flowers my daughter bought are planted in the flowerbed. The new asparagus roots are, hopefully, all ready to sprout.

An outdoor kitchen. A well-designed area for preparing and serving food can be the perfect complement to an area for outdoor entertaining. This integrated food preparation area, with its wealth of storage space and worktops, is possible in a hot, dry, predictable climate.

At the local greengrocer’s shop were these wonderful Brassica oleracea (Botrytis Group) 'Romanesco' (broccolo romanesco, romanesque cauliflower, green cauliflower) which look like an artwork and will taste delicious.

Hey I'm about to go take an exam in my horticulture class any facts about vegetables I should know?
The five most important vegetable facts:
Vegetables are not typical tables, but VEGE tables, meaning they have several aftermarket diesel engine parts.
Vegetables are neither birds nor fish, but are kosher, save of course for the Porkflower.
Vegetables are among the richest foods in carbohydrates, but among the poorest in social collateral where fashion is concerned.
Many vegetables are green because of Phillip C. Loros, or "Cloro Phil" as he is known in the vegetable community.
A nightshade-like vegetable from the bottom of the ocean can grant immortality, but snakes keep eating it while people who can dive and recover it are sleeping. This is the plot of the ancient Sumerian myth, "The Epic of the Snake that Ate my Life-Weed."
