SABRINA CARPENTER ESPRESSO MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERE

On Friday 12th April, I got the opportunity to attend the London premiere of Sabrina Carpenter's new music video "Espresso" after signing up to a social media competition run by Sabrina's official team - TeamSabrina.

The event was held at this beautiful 50-seat cinema in Shoreditch. After queueing with about 20 other people, my plus one and I entered the building to see stickers on the walls with quotes from the song like 'I can't relate to desperation' and 'Is that sweet - I guess so...'

We were given free burgers and pastries/croissants and offered iced coffee in plastic cups with stickers on with Sabrina's initials. I chose to have tea instead though! We got to take photos with a giant music video poster and have our photos taken by some of the Polydor/Island Records team.

Then, it was time for the main event! We had to hand our phones in before we could enter the cinema room. They started playing the music videos for "Feather" and "Nonsense" before "Espresso". The new music video looked amazing on the big screen especially the transition from the black and white to colour. I loved the 50s aesthetic of the video too! We were allowed to watch the music video twice and every time we gave a round of applause once it finished. It was a lovely experience watching with fellow Sabrina fans!

Before we left, we were given "Espresso" cupcakes and postcards and a final drink! It was the perfect ending to a lovely morning!
