"Oh, this will be fun." Supervillain smirked. He readied every power he could manage, all stolen from their friends. It made Sidekick sick to their stomach.

They assumed a fighting stance of their own as they began to block and dodge, making sure to keep Supervillain from laying a finger on them.

If they messed up now...

"HAH! Someone looks nervous. Why not get a little closer?" Sidekick purposefully faltered, allowing him the chance to latch a hand onto their arm. "That little power of yours is mine now."

They moved their other hand, readying the trigger. Thankfully Supervillain hadn't been paying attention to the symbols they'd drew in the air.

Supervillain's expression grew increasingly confused by the second. Now Sidekick smirked. "Good thing I don't have a power for you to steal," they said, setting off their magic.

"Do you just have access to this at all times?"

"You mean country-wide surveillance? Yes."

"H- How did you know all that?"

"Ah, well you see my dear, there are certain benefits to having grown up as a human experiment in a power lab."

"I... got orders from higher up." Spy explained hesitantly.

"Who‽" Supervillain demanded to know who told their internal spy on the heroes to reveal themselves to their friends.

Spy sucked in a breath, "Indlovukazi."

Supervillain's face dropped in horror. "Oh no..." they said under their breath.

There was a knock on the doorframe as the person in question appeared just beyond it. "Knock knock losers, I'm shutting your operation down."

Supervillain smiled at all the heroes they'd captured before them. All handcuffed around a bar going across the top of the wall. One stood out to them amongst the rest.

Hero didn't really struggle. Sure, they gave the cuffs a few tugs, but mostly they seemed rather calm, only some real determination to escape here and there. They kept glancing at something around their neck when they could.

A little black feather. On a string.

Right, Supervillain recalled, they have a kid. That feather was apparently a tie to them.

So doing what they did best, Supervillain approached. "Look at you, being all strong. Gotta show your kid what real heroes are like, hm?"

Hero didn't falter. If anything they seemed unimpressed, the fear in their eyes manufactured. Weird.

"You're not gonna keep us here for long. Someone will find us." It was not a question, a request, it was a statement. Hero knew they'd be found in the next hour if they knew their kid. They just needed to hang out a little longer.

Supervillain stepped closer. They slowly reached towards Hero's neck, "I wonder what would happen if I-"

"You touch that feather you'll regret for the rest of your greatly shortened lifespan."

Supervillain realized why they had been so calm.

"You do realize, we can't walk on walls."

All three of them looked the others standing on the floor up and down and said, in unison, "Skill issue."

"Are you two dating?"

"It's worse, they're siblings."

"What?" A asked as they passed by B, who looked at them with shock.

"Uhm..." B started, somewhat nervous, "who's head, exactly, is that?"

A scoffed, "I told you the next time I saw him, I'd kill him."
