The northside of Saint Michael's Church, on top of Burrow Mump on cloudy night.
The Church was originally built sometime in the mid 1400's. During the English Civil Wars (1642 & 1645) the church provided sanctuary for royalists and later was used by the English Army as an outpost during the Monmouth Rebellion in 1685. By 1790 the church was in a state of disrepair and was partially rebuilt with a west tower, south porch and three bay nave, however the project ran out of money and has been left unfinished ever since.
