Recreating that scene when Aranea met Terezi. Last HS piece for quite some time, I wanted to do something more anime with more use of color theory. Happy 2025. I feel this is a good place to depart from the fanart of this series as I branch into making a more varied portfolio and hope to expand out to get clients and work for studios.

I think this is also the best timing because bowenstuck came out. To preference, I've made HS art since the comic's inception, fifteenish years ago.

'Kali Yuga'. I had this idea floating around so I sketched it out. I do plan on doing more digital art as I build my portfolio to apply to jobs, but I still want to do some traditional work here. (Please, if you like my work, I have commissions open.)

Olympia, redux ver. I don't normally post my traditional work on this blog (I have a side blog for it) but I liked it enough to put here. I reposted a lot of my older paintings from a year-two years ago because I haven't touched paints in a long time. I lost the drive to do it and I work full time. The original piece was part of a set. I remade it with more knowledge of color theory and visual understanding.

I came out of my watercolor retirement yesterday.

Some traditional art I've been working on. I work both digitally and traditionally, although my styles for both are very different. Both are charcoal and colored pencil. 'Silence of the Lamb' and 'Redux'.

I've done three of these: Vriska, Latula, Terezi. I have one more planned for Aranea, but I'll be stepping away from HS for a while to focus on my own works, outside of the occasional Vriska or FC. I listed my base prices below. So, there's the base price for non-color options and the color options will be added. So if you want a flat colored portrait, it's 40 USD (15 plus 25).

Portraits start at a flat rate of: 15 USD

Half body: 20 USD

Full: 35 USD (per character) Flat color (including screentones) base price: 25 USD

Cell shading: 45 USD

Full painting w/o background: 75 USD

with background: 105 USD.

This was a different concept entirely. I was going to make a portrait and now we're here. I've wanted to paint my character, Selah for a while but I struggle with Clip Studio over Photoshop (screw Adobe). I think I am gradually adjusting to the program. If you want your character drawn by me, my commission slots are open.
