SELF LOVE - WHY AND HOW WE SHOULD PRACTICE IT
SELF LOVE  💜
What is Self Love?
Self-love is a feeling of admiration for oneself that develops as a result of encouraging our physical, psychological, and spiritual development. Self-love is defined as having great regard for one's own happiness and well-being. Self-love entails attending to your own needs rather than putting others' needs ahead of your own. Self-love involves refusing to accept anything less than what you deserve.
Because we all have different ways of taking care of ourselves, self-love can mean different things to different people. Understanding what self-love entails for you as an individual is important to your mental health.
Accepting yourself as you are right now, for everything you are, is what self-love encompasses. It includes embracing your feelings as they are and prioritizing your physical, emotional, and mental wellness.
Why should we practice self-love?
So we now know that self-love pushes you in life to make healthy choices. You are more likely to select things that nurture your well-being and serve you well if you hold yourselves highly valued. These can be in the form of healthy eating, exercise, or healthy relationships.
How should we practice self-love?
1. Stop comparing yourself with others We are socialized to be competitive, so it is natural to compare ourselves with others. However, it can be harmful. It is simply pointless to compare yourself against anyone else on the planet because you are just one. Concentrate instead on your journey and yourself. The energy shift alone helps you to feel free. 2. Do not be concerned about the opinions of others Don't worry what society thinks about you or expects of you in this same vein. It's a waste of time, so you can't make everyone happy, and worrying about other's opinions will only slow your journey towards being your best manner.
3. Give yourself permission to make mistakes. “Nobody is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes,” we are told repeatedly from a young age. However, as you get older, you'll feel more pressure to never fail. Give yourself a break! Make mistakes so you can learn from them and improve. Accept your past. You're always changing and evolving from who you were to who you are now and will be in the future. So, ignore the voice in your head that tells you that you have to be perfect. Make a lot of mistakes! The knowledge you'll receive will be priceless. 4. Keep in mind that your worth isn't determined by how you look. This is essential! So many things in the world are attempting to divert your attention away from this life-changing reality. Even your own internalized sexism might reinforce your feelings of inadequacy. You are valuable because of who you are, not because of what you look like. So, put on what makes you happy. Wear what makes you feel confident, comfortable, and joyful, whether it's a lot or a little. 5. Don't be scared to let go of people that are toxic Not everyone is accountable for the energy they release into the planet. If someone is bringing toxicity into your life and refusing to accept responsibility for it, you may need to distance yourself from them. Don't be hesitant to try it. Even if it is unpleasant, it is liberating and important. Remember to safeguard your vitality. Removing oneself from situations or the company of individuals that drain you is neither disrespectful nor incorrect. 6. Work over your fears Fear, like erring, is a natural and human emotion. Understand your worries rather than dismissing them. This beneficial workout can significantly improve your mental health. Exploring and understanding your worries might help you achieve the insight and uncover issues that have been giving you anxiety. As a result, some — if not all — of your worry may be relieved. 7. Have faith in your ability to make excellent decisions for yourself. We often doubt ourselves and our capacity to do what is right, even when we know what is best in our hearts. Keep in mind that your emotions are valid. You aren't losing your grip on reality. You know yourself better than anyone else, so use that knowledge to your advantage. 8. Grab every opportunity that comes your way, or create your own. That next significant step in your life will never be perfect in terms of time. Even if the setup isn't ideal, you shouldn't let that stop you from achieving your goals and dreams. Instead, take advantage of the opportunity because it may never come again. 9. Prioritize yourself. You shouldn't feel awful about it. Women, in particular, might develop a habit of putting others first. Although there is a time and place for it, it should not become a habit that compromises your mental or emotional health. Make time to relax and unwind. You can put yourself under a lot of stress if you don't decompress and recharge. Find what helps you decompress and devote time to it, whether it's spending the day in bed or outside in nature. 10. Appreciate the beauty in the commonplace. Every day, try to notice at least one wonderful, little thing around you. Make a note of it and express gratitude for it. Gratitude not only helps you find joy but also provides you perspective. 11. Be kind to yourself. Don't add your voice to the chorus of angry remarks and criticism. Don't berate yourself, and don't call yourself names. You should be proud of yourself. You've gone a long way and changed a lot. Remember to celebrate yourself on a regular basis, not only on your birthday! 12. Be bold in public. Make it a habit to express yourself. Boldness is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it becomes. Take a seat at the table without waiting for permission. Participate in the discussion. Please share your ideas. Take action and remember that your voice matters just as much as anyone else's. Self-love is a popular concept these days, and it looks a little different for everyone. We all have a unique way of loving ourselves. If you're unsure
about how to start showing yourself some love, read about 'em, try 'em, and then make 'em your own.XOXO💜

FASHION TIPS - HOW TO DRESS CLASSY AND ELEGANT
TIPS TO DRESS CLASSY & CHIC
Every woman aspires to be her most beautiful self. Being a sophisticated woman requires dressing elegantly and gracefully. Victoria Beckham and Audrey Hepburn are classic examples of exquisite women. Some people believe that looking classy equates to looking wealthy and that in order to look wealthy, you must spend a lot of money on designer labels. That is not anything like the truth. It's not only about what you wear when it comes to being classy; it's also about how you carry yourself. It signifies that you constantly want to give the world your best but in a non-flashy way.
Looking classy does not always necessitate the use of high-end designer labels. It's more about dressing in well-fitting garments with fashion sense. Being a classy lady is being at ease in your own skin, therefore you don't always have to follow trends unless you know they suit your body type. Without having to spend a lot of money on designer shoes or bags, you can appear classy and chic by wearing simple, elevated clothing.
I am currently in college and have lots of expenses for my studies and general day-to-day living. So, I don't spend more money on expensive clothes or I must say my purchasing power is too low sometimes (I think we all can agree on being broke sometimes lol), but I try my level best to dress classy with the simple items I own. And I know that there are some girls out there thinking we must own designer or expensive clothes to dress classy. Nah girl!! You got it wrong! That's why I came to rescue you and share my tips/thoughts on how to dress classy and chic timelessly.
More girls have opted for easy fashion nowadays. You must get rid of these unladylike habits first.
Let go of these;
1. Wearing gym clothes and pajamas all day.
2. No crop tops allowed. They appear to be quite low-cost.
3. T-shirts with large prints (like cartoons and other pictures)
4. Unnecessarily ripped jeans.
5. Bulky large cheap-looking jewelry.
6. Wearing flip-flops for every occasion.
Now, let's go into the game-changing tips. You must follow these tips no matter what you wear.
MUST DO TIPS
1. Keep your clothes wrinkle-free.
2. Keep your shoes clean.
3. Don't wear too tight or revealing clothes.
4. Avoid overdoing accessories.
5. Wear neutrals or fabrics that match your skin tone.
6. Make sure the fit is perfect.
7. Hair must be neat or styled properly.
8. Simple makeup or no-makeup-look-makeup
Next, I will share my bonus tips which will help you to look classy and evaluate your look.
BONUS TIPS
1. Use a structured bag.
2. Style yourself with a neck scarf.
3. A turtleneck top with a jacket or a camel coat.
4. Pull your sleeves out and button them properly.
5. When in doubt wear white and style accordingly.
6. Button up your blouse and go with a pair of pants or an elegant skirt.
7. A bell-shaped denim and a sleeveless blouse can never go wrong.
8. A pair of sunglasses and a belt are must-go accessories.
So those are the tips I have for my lovelies. I hope these will help you to dress with a more fashionable sense and enhance your feminine elegant look. Now, these are from my perspective. You might not agree with me. However, I encourage you to style in your own way because no one can define fashion in a particular way. Fashion is limitless. You go, girl! Don't be afraid to show the world your sense of fashion. Always keep in my mind "Dress to impress yourself, not others."
XOXO 💜
