You’re telling me this isn’t their family dynamics?

Anyways— as i work on my designs for the olympian gods, i decided i should show of another little AU i have! i tried to match the kids with what variation of their fathers would suit best, and ended up with these three! The AU in question, in short term, is where the big three somehow manage to find themselves with some kids, whether it be natural (aka Zeus’ route), or adoption.

The kids in question, going from left to right and top to bottom, are Talonus paired with @messymoonmad ‘s Zeus, Mistos and Alkinos paired with @bigidiotenergytm ‘s Hades, and finally Kimocles with @kdpartworks ‘s Jellyseidon! I had lots of fun drawing these little guys, and their fathers from different universes.

I was thinking of making a few posts discussing the kids lore and how exactly they met with each god, and i’ll keep you guys updated :D

Anyways, i had lots of fun drawing these three soldiers— Polites especially, because of his fluffy hair. Eurylochus does have a sword, i just haven’t gone to drawing it yet! I had some inspiration from the lovely @/bigidiotenergytm for my Odysseus’ different hair colors, because of how adorable it is, and the poncho.. cape.. thing—

And of course, almost everything about their designs have meaning, from their earrings, to their scars, and of course their pendants! i can’t wait to finally start doodling them now that i officially have designs.

Hello! as for the past few days, i’ve been putting together a silly doodle of my favorite epic designs of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and Odysseus! (i even included a little persona, because i couldn’t resist.) and honestly, now that i look at it, they look like the primary colors as characters :,]

aww, look how cute they are. the designs are from as follows, from left to right and up to down; @bigidiotenergytm, @messymoonmad, @neal-illustrator, and @kdpartworks ! a few pieces were difficult drawing so small, like the arm pieces on Zeus, but i’m happy with the finished product, and i hope the original creators like them !!

Here is another page of art during @neal-illustrator ‘s second stream! i had fun listening in when Yapper Neal kicked in, and couldn’t help but draw little Neal posing for thunder bringer, with an amused Zeus watching.

Also, one of my favorite moments was when my father found me drawing Poseidon and said (and i quote) “he looks like jesus but with braids” when i told him who i was drawing. funniest moment ever!

I am unsure if i’m still going to, but i may also post fully colored pictures of little drawings during the streams.

Hi hello!

I’ve spent the last few days and perhaps a week trying to flesh out an Epic the Musical AU— which surprises me so much that i’m even saying it— where all characters swap roles!

This may become a master post in the future, depending how often i share of the characters and story. So far i’ve already drawn a total of 5 characters, which include Zeus, Poseidon, Eurylochus, Odysseus, and Hades! (while Hades doesn’t appear much— mostly in the background for the wisdom and ithaca saga— he still is important.)

How are the characters swapped?

I’m glad you asked, big text! the AU itself is called Godswap— and for good reason too! I’ve taken (mostly) all mortal characters, and swapped them with (mostly) all of the god characters.

For example, Zeus and Odysseus!

(here below is a picture of mortal!Zeus)

While it may be funny in concept— the man who cheats on his wife the most, paired with the man who cheated the least (not at all), they are the main focal points in this AU to determine the rest of the swapped pairs. For instance, since Eurylochus is Odysseus’ right hand man AND brother-in-law, i only saw it fit to swap him with Poseidon (concept below, and yes i know his other arm is supposed the metal one— also inspired by @neal-illustrator ‘s Poseidon)

What else is changed?

The biggest change, at first, is Ithaca. Since it really wouldn’t make any sense that King Zeus ruled over Ithaca, i also swapped the (in essence) islands. I formed ‘Island Olympus” to be much bigger, since i wanted Poseidon to not just be Zeus’ brother— but also a king of his own land. Adding in Hades, who only appears a few times, now we have a three kinged land!

that also means that instead of just Penelope (in this case Hera) having without a king, it includes Amphitrite who is Poseidons wife.

naturally, i didn’t want neither Eurylochus— Poseidon in this case— to die, so i’ve added my own little twist that, surprisingly, has Poseidon confronting Zeus later after the Ithaca Saga.

What’re the plans for the future?

while i plan for asks to be open for the characters, i will have to fully flesh everyone out, and will post weekly (if latest monthly) updates on whos swapped with who, and their designs! when the asks do eventually start up, i will begin with right around the song “Full Speed Ahead”— with Zeus, Poseidon, and (spoiler alert as who swaps with Polities) Hermes!

for now, i will focus on drawing designs and coming up with how the story will weave together
