Today’s run was brutal. It was 1-minute walks and 7-minutes runs, three times in a row. Last run was 3+7 and I did not make that, but today I pushed myself. It shows in Garmin when I look at my different pulse zones. A total of 45% was in zone 5. I was also told that I was over training today and needs 70 hours of restitution before my next activity. When I start my training from scratch, I always do intervals of walking and running. Therefor I call my runs for forward movement. I must be honest; I only ran the one-time last week. To many lousy excuses, I really do not know why I cannot pull myself together and just do it. I feared that our run today would be hard, that my legs would fell the impact of the half marathon that we ran Sunday. New experience
Today, was really a different experience. The running program that we are using had us running twice in a day. Luckily today was a bank holiday, so we did not need to run before work. We had planned to run at 10 am and again at 5 pm. Both of the runs were only 35-minutes.  The first one was 35-minute easy run, not really an issue, we kept the pace down. 6:49 min/km. Easy pace should be 6:50-7:20…

Three different runs
This week has resulted in three very different runs. Both in distance and pace, but also in how Kasper and I felt on the runs. Tuesday, we had an easy 35-minute run in total. I have earned my badge. I have been smoke-free for 100 days. It is getting easier, but I can still feel the craving when we get some good food, wine or beer. (or all three) I admit I still use gum, but if I do not use the gum, I get cravings for sweets or just food. So, the gum helps me both with the cigarette craving, but also my weight-loss.
