How MHA boys would react if they found out you were self-harming

Warnings: Angst and fluff

A/N: I've had mental health struggles and have self-harmed before. I'm doing better now, but I decided to do a headcanon of how the MHA boys would react to their s/o self-harming and struggling with their mental health. !Fem!reader X Bakugou, Denki, and Kirishima. (I'll do a part 2 with more characters if you guys want. Messages are always open for suggestions)

>Bakugou<

*You've been feeling really down lately. You're not sure exactly WHY but you started cutting to let it out.

*One day you're hanging out with Bakugou when you feel close to tears out of nowhere

*for no reason

*He notices and asks whats wrong

*You're obviously not gonna want to worry him so you say it's nothing

*He calls bullshit and pulls you close

*He's worried

*You reach up to push your hair out of your eyes and your sleeve rides up a little

*It's not much, but its enough

*Bakugou snatches your wrist, pushing your sleeve up

You fight back a little bit with tears in your eyes, not wanting him to see what you've been reduced to. "Y/N! Why?" You look down, not saying anything, tears spilling down your cheeks. He grabs your chin, tilting your face up so you have to look at him. Again he asks "Why'd you do it?" To others, it might seem like he's getting angry or frusterated, but you can see through the facade. "K-Katsuki" you pull him into a tight embrace, finally letting everything out. He strokes your hair, whispering reassurances in your ear. "It's okay, I've got you. We'll get through this together Y/N. I promise." When you pull away you can see the tears in his eyes, and instantly feel bad for making him upset. "Katsuki, I'm so sorry. I-I didn't know how to let it out and I didn't want to worry you. I spent so much time wearing a fake smile, I forgot what it felt like to smile for real." He pulls you back into his arms saying "Dont do it again, dumbass. If you feel like you're gonna get to that point again, you come talk to me, understand?" You agree, finding comfort in his arms, knowing everything's gonna be okay.

>Denki<

~He finds out entirely out of accident.

~He had taken you on a dinner date and someone accidently knocked your drink over while walking past

~Now you have soda all over your jacket and Denki helps you take it off

~You dont realize he'd see your cuts until it was too late

"What are these?" he asks with tears in his eyes. You remember what was on your wrist and curse, wrapping your arms around yourself. "Y/N answer me! What happened? Did you- did you do that to yourself?" You nod, feeling the tears that had been pooling in your eyes, overflow. He sits down next to you, pulling you into his arms. "I'm always here for you Y/N. You're not alone anymore." You cling to him, your body shaking from your sobs. "Please look at me." You do just that, seeing the hurt and worry in his eyes. "Please, just talk to me next time. I'm always here to listen to and support you. This has to stop, it's not healthy. I wont try to pry and ask why, it wont change the fact that what's done is done, but PLEASE dont do it again." At this point, he's crying too, and you hold on tighter, glad you have his strenght to lean on. "I wont, I promise" you manage to whisper. He kisses your forhead and says "Lets go home."

>Kirishima<

^He noticed you were acting different lately and had asked you to talk to him

^You meet up with him asking "Whats up?"

"How about you tell me Y/N." He says. "Every day you've been getting more and more distant. So whats going on? Do you- do you just not wanna be with me anymore?" He says the last part barely louder than a whisper. You're shocked at this and throw yourself into his arms. "N-no! It's nothing like that!" You can already feel yourself start to fall apart, but you try to stay strong. "I love you Kirishima. Nothing will ever change that." He can hear the waver in your voice and hold you tighter. "Then whats wrong Y/N? You used to be so happy, all the time. It used to be so easy to make you laugh and smile, but now it's next to impossible. What happened? Talk to me." You dont wanna hide your awful truth from him any longer and you tell him "Everything's been so out of control lately. I didn't know what to do~" You break off, barely able to speak anymore. "Y/N? What did you do?" You pull away from him the smallest bit and push your sleeve up. "I-I didn't know what else to do-" you whisper with tears running down your face. Kirishima's eyes instantly fill with tears when he realizes what you mean. He pulls you closer, holding you so tight. "Why didn't you tell me before? I would've helped you through this Y/N! You dont have to be alone." You love everything about him, and you dont like to worry him or make him upset. "I'm sorry Kiri, I didn't wanna worry you. You've been so busy with other things, I didn't wanna distract you from whats most important." He tenses up a little at this and you can tell your words surprised him. "You could never distract me from whats most important to me, cause its YOU pebble"
