Female leads in movies do not need to be masculine to be strong characters. It's not that masculine women are strange or bland but in so many movies, the "strong" female character is often one that rejects femininity, doesn't wear make-up, and puts down feminine girls. A woman doesn't need to act like a man- by that I mean be misogynistic- to be a hero or a fighter. I'm so glad that nowadays, there are a bunch of media (kpdh I'm looking at you) which show that these powerful women can be feminine and stylish or makeup-less and comfortable while still staying fierce.

That being said.... WHERE ARE ALL MY STRONG FEMININE MEN AT??? Masculinity isn't needed to be strong! We've established that. But only for women. Men don't necessarily need to be masculine to be powerful and strong either! Guys can wear their hair nice, put on dresses and makeup and slay while looking pretty!! There need to be more feminine men in media and I stand by that. Not to be ridiculed or sexualised, but because people can wear whatever they feel confident and comfortable in and deserve to be represented and respected as normal human beings.

Anyone reading this, who used to be a/is Harry Potter fan like me, please don't watch the reboot or buy anymore books. It's just a way for her to "start over" with new actors and crew who haven't openly gone against her for her harmful and WRONG views.

You can enjoy the franchise privately, no one is going to stop you. Fanfictions, books and merch you've already bought, but PLEASE don't indulge anymore. She's showed time and time again that all her profits go to making the lives of trans people a living hell.

Transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc, are NOT a majority view. MOST SANE PEOPLE do not think or act like this. These bigots have fame, money and power and it seems as though the majority agree with them when that is simply not true. As soon as they lose their money and following, they will crawl back into the slimy holes they came from. The more people understand this, the better. We have to stop encouraging them, whether monetarily or just ignoring the hateful views and actions of people in power or people we might have looked up too.

To all the people these laws do not impact, DON'T SIT IDLY BY. It doesn't matter if you don't agree with these bigots inside your own head, you have to stand up and speak out against these monsters removing BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS. Trans people are PEOPLE. We deserve rights and respect.

And one more thing: SHE'S NOT A FEMINIST. TERFS ARE NOT FEMINISTS. They don't do anything for women! They just destroy trans people because they don't understand us, will never try to understand us, and choose to tear us apart and label US as the problem instead of them. I, personally, think that we should stop calling them "feminists" when they're clearly anything but.

These crashes have made me realise how I was basically raised on ao3 disclaimers and how I'm so grateful for them 🙏🏽. Without them I would have never realised that parents hitting, gaslighting and violating their child's consent is in fact NOT normal. I would have never realised I was trans and that my dysphoria and depression was REAL and not "overreacting". I'm so glad and happy I found it and the authors took the time to be so informative.

Also. Smut and kink exploration. Mhm. Very important in my teenage mental development.
