the season of college admissions has always been a hard time for me, no matter what grade i was in. its a reminder every year that the people who you thought were good enough to go anywhere end up not having enough lines on their resume compared to someone that literally just dedicated their high school life to building it up. of course those people usually are very hard workers and deserve it, but its so hard sometimes seeing people that would thrive at a good college have their dreams crushed and they become paranoid that their future is compromised just because they couldnt take enough ap classes or their essays werent flawless.
