I think looking at a year through micro-seasons is so beautiful, and I wish that western/modern society would pick up on it too.

I think it's so important to have a "nature" calendar in your head, like a way of tracking time that's completely separate from anything work or obligation related, not holidays or anything stressful. For instance I look forward to august because at 8pm every night house finches hang around my window for a few weeks. In spring I love waiting for the magnolias to blossom. Just ways of tracking the time with zero stakes that's completely removed from life's zeitgeist and that you really look forward to

Screwing around with the idea of a former dead mall being turned into the new town center, with the former monument to big capitalism now having locally owned businesses, maybe a small church, an edible garden. The big stores are now home to stalls where people sell their crafts or secondhand items. Or they've been taken over by libraries! If there's a theater, it still plays movies, visions of another time, or maybe it can be rented out to play other things. Could have a shelter in there, for people who need a place to stay for the night. A community center with exercise equipment and classes you can take. The food court still sells food. The intercom sometimes plays vaporwave ironically.

I just think you could really do something with those massive buildings other than just tear them down or leave them to rot...

I've been on a solarpunk kick though I'm not sure this really falls into that category...

Anyone have thoughts to share?

I just found out today that they cancelled the show and I am so devastated! It was one of my favourites and the cast, music, dancing, story, everything was incredible! The cast/crew deserves the chance to tell the stories of their characters! Please, if you love this show as much as I do, help us get it back! Let's get #renewjulieandthephantoms trending!

Please, please, please do this! Even if you don't like cats. Mother cats will sometimes even keep their kittens under the hood of a car on the engine, so always double check!

We have entered the season of cold temperatures. This is a friendly reminder to tap tap tap on your hoods & wheels and blow your horn.

The numbers of cats being injured or killed are far higher than people are aware of 😓😓.
