The next 3 weeks, we will travel Europe with a fully electric car from Kia. On this blog we will capture our adventures :) 

Dag 1 - Wie zoekt zal vinden

Voor de route naar Luxemburg stad, zullen we onderweg een keer moeten laden. In België blijkt het echter een feestdag te zijn, de eerste gratis lader bij een supermarkt is gesloten. Bij een autodealer verderop hebben we ook pech: de KiWhi pas die we nodig hebben zullen we ontvangen op dag 2. Gelukkig kunnen we in Marche-en-Famenne nog wat kilometers snoepen bij een stopcontact. Vervolgens rijden we over de mooiste weggetjes van Luxemburg naar een weiland voor een korte stop. De zon is doorgebroken en we krijgen het echte vakantie-gevoel.

Sad to hear even more sad news today: the Mackintosh building is lit up in fire and smoke... a bad accident happend. Thought to re-share these photos of this indescribable beautiful building with you, I hope at least something can be recovered.

From the beautiful green landscapes from the highlands, we are moving towards the urban landscapes of the highway in Glasgow. Can we still talk about beauty?

Hurray for a little off-centre compositions! I can almost imagine the roads fade into rails into water. Can you see that too?

Looking back, I realize how much I learned about photography, editing, and curating. I think I should decide to travel again... :D

Sexy curves and an occasional little white house... who would expect to capture that on your way to the Scottish Higlands?

Here in the Netherlands the sun is shining - finally. But back then in November, on my way from Fort William to Glasgow the weather was shit but at least the view looked like a painting. Maybe some impressionism?

So GSA's Product Design department moved to the brandnew and super-white Reid Building, but good old Skypark wasn't a too bad place after all: look at that lightning! and view!

In November I took the train back from Fort William to Glasgow, and almost at the very end of this 4-hour-journey, sun going down and train moving forward, took these pictures. Moving lines, blurry trees, but can you find the sharp details?

Not so much to say today

Skypark (where Product Design was located) was called skypark for a reason: sunset always looked amazing.

The sun can light up things so magical - both pictures were shot on the exact same spot. Only turned my feet 180 degrees. One captured from where we came, the other where we were going to. The difference between bright skies and clouds. What a difference, right?

A few shots from the old Mackintosh Building. Somehow, it always had this magical feeling with perfect lightning. And it was such a sunny day back then!

At some points it didn't fit my expectations of how the highland in Scotland would look - is it Canada? New Zealand? Thank you Giulia for the last picture :)
