Weird how life keeps going without them. Even weirder how in the most mundane moments, where nothing is wrong yet none is right, it just is, I find myself thinking "A shame, I got more time with him than my 'brother' did. Yet we're both robbed now."

The mirrors remind me.

As do a flicker of black cloth. A bone white mask. A glimpse of the smiling moon. Or just a distant laugh sounding a bit too familiar.

"He's still there in your heart! You're a fragment of his soul!" My friends comfort. But it's hard not to miss a soul that surrounded you all your childhood. A soul the size of a city.

I haven't watched more than like two seasons of My Hero Academia, but I was reading through the wiki for fun and is Kurogiri essentially a big daddy (bioshock) for Shigaraki?

been thinking about this for a minute...both kid and asura have human like forms but Lord Death doesn't, is it possible he gave up his body for some reason? I'm only just rereading the manga and it's been so long since I've seen the anime so if there's lore explaining this that I'm forgetting please forgive me lol

I think Lord Death was just created without a human body since even in fire force when he was created, he didn't have a human body. I think it's like vaugly implied he has some sort of face under his mask somewhere in Soul Eater, though? I might be misremembering that, tbh. The idea of him having had a body and having to give it up for some reason is kinda fun to think about, though!

But I think since Lord Death was made by Shinra to be a tangible god for people to worship, he didn't make him to be necessarily human looking but instead to be powerful looking (i think anyways). Kid was made by Lord Death in Shinra's image, though, which is why he looks human and i also like to hc he wanted Kid to be very human in general. I don't think there's a real reason given in cannon that Asura looks human, but I like to think Lord Death made him like that cause it was just easiest lol

Ive had a vague idea for a soul eater x amazing digital circus crossover crackfic buzzing in my head for a week now and it won't leave. When i say vauge, I mean it, cause I have no plot idea, but I do think tossing Asura into the circus would be hilarious actually.

Plus I think Zooble interacting with Kid would be funny.

You think Asura saw a plane after getting revived? That would probably be wild for him, cause imagine waking up after 800 years you're flying around, then you just see this loud ass metal thing moving through the sky.

Do you think someone in arachnophobia tried to introduce him to the internet? Cause I think Asura interacting with early 2000's internet would be hilarious, actually.

Crona has lived with Professer Stein for a few years now, slowly improving their physical health and making a bit of progress with their mental health.

I feel like Maka would refuse to drink alcohol all that much due to having grown up seeing Spirit drink so much.

I don't think she'd care about her friends drinking too much, as long as they're responsible bout it, but she'd definitely be the designated driver.

I wonder if Crona and Medusa ever had moments where she seemed like a good mom, just for a second. The kind of moments that you look back on and go "Is that the mom i could've had if i wasn't so disappointing?" The kind of moments that you think of at three in the morning when all you want is your mom.

I wonder if she ever dried their tears and cooed at them that it's ok, even if it was just to save face somewhere or keep them loyal. Did she sing them lullabies or read them to sleep when they were an infant?

Would they be jealous of themself, in those small memories, and wonder why she couldn't have just stayed like that? Why it couldn't have been that good always?

Would they make those memories up if they had none? Desperately grasping for crumbs of mother's love, the supposed unconditional love every child should've been graced with.

At least she craddled them with warmth for some time. Even if it was for 9 short months.

I haven't read up to where he gets corrupted or whatever happens to him, but remembering that Justin Law is like 17ish, it makes a lotta sense he does.

I've grown up with a lot of repressed, extremely religious boys, and now in their early 20s, most of them are now the kind of guys you Do Not want to be alone with or they're extremely gay and deconstructed. He immediately reminded me of some of them.

Yknow how really sheltered kids with strict parents tend to crash out/go a bit crazy in college with the partying and/or alcohol since it's their first time with freedom?

Currently thinking about Crona doing that post anime ending in their later teen years.
