I had to get this out of my system so I did this sketch as quick as I could w/out hurting myself. I won't say this adult Fei redesign is the best since it's a first pass but it's something 😤

Considering that this year I find out I'm ND through a really bad burnout (that I'm still recovering from), not bad.

Additional thoughts:

This year I decided to tackle color head on as well as digital art. I learned a lot, but I still have a long way to go. Over all, I'm satisfied with my progress and what I made. I tried a lot of new things despite my brain breaking in a lot of other ways, so I think it's ok to call this a W.

This year is also the most I've drawn in a long, long time. Another victory✌️ (Honestly though? I prefer sketches by a long shot. Clean digital work with razor thin linework stresses me tf out and isn't fun for me at all 🙃) Oh and I drew hella (for my standards at least) ship art while it was still a hyperfixation lol

Next year, aside from bday gifts to family and friends, I plan on doing some (hopefully) rough illustrations for natsuyuu s7 and ina11 while the hyperfixation is still hot 💪😤 (also finally find the brush of my dreams please I'm struggling here 😭)

What I am NOT going to do, is overload on commitments and break down over not posting in time for X day 💀 I'm going to continue to give myself grace as always
