The Beauty and The Soldier

So, I just finished watching Beauty and the Beast and couldn't stop thinking about him, so here you go. English is not my first language, sorry (I used a translator).

It's very corny, so get ready for some serious tooth decay. Thank you!

Every day I discover something new about him, something wonderfully charming that takes my breath away and makes me blush just thinking about it, something so different from the rough and unapproachable exterior he shows everyone.

Every day when I see him go out in the morning with bread to feed the birds, my confusion grows. He's not what I dreamed of, he's not Prince Charming, nor is he an easy person to love, but every little thing he does changes everything I ever thought.

I keep walking toward the farthest sidewalks, unable to stop noticing her gaze fixed on me, burning my skin. I can feel her smile without having to look, and it's so strange to feel the warmth that someone as pure as her can show me, to see myself through those amazing eyes and not see a hint of fear or revulsion like everyone else often shows me.

It's so confusing to see her take my metal arm to walk beside me and not feel a twinge of fear, making me imagine things I shouldn't, something I had already resigned myself to, a house with white picket fences, an “I love you” every morning, mischievous children running around the house, barbecues, and... being loved.

“Do you think they'll ever realize?” Nat asked as everyone watched the scene in front of them, each with different reactions. Steve, Scott, Sam, and even Bruce looked happily at the Avengers, while Tony and Nat looked somewhat disturbed by the scene.

The Winter Soldier laughed nonstop as he chased Y/N through the snow, both playing at throwing snowballs at each other. No one except Steve believed they had ever seen Bucky so happy since they had known him, and they thought they had already seen the epitome of weirdness when they saw him blush when Y/N made him a cake for his birthday and kissed him on the cheek when she gave it to him.

And although everyone knew it was only a matter of time before the lovebirds realized it was mutual, it had become exasperating to see how obvious they could be with each other and yet neither made the first move.

“Mr. Stark, I've finished my homework! Where is it?!”

The spider boy blushed when everyone in the room shushed him at the same time.

“What's going on?” he asked, this time in a lower tone of voice, approaching the window where everyone was enjoying the little show. As soon as he spotted Mr. Barnes and Y/N playing in the snow, he started asking questions again, which were once again silenced by everyone.

Bucky suddenly grabbed Y/N by the waist with his metal arm, laughing incessantly and stumbling as Y/N tried to break free from his grip. who was also laughing uncontrollably with a deep blush on her face, as she often did when the soldier was near. In a maneuver that few of the Avengers understood, Bucky fell into the snow and Y/N on top of him, their faces so close that only a few inches separated them from what everyone was waiting for.

“I can't believe it, they're going to kiss!”

As soon as the boy said this, Y/N and Bucky turned toward the building, realizing that they had been the day's little entertainment. They quickly pulled apart and tried to look calm, while the rest of the team shouted exasperatedly at Peter for ruining the long-awaited outcome.

“B-but what did I do? ... Mr. Stark ...?”

Tony, equally amused and stressed by the situation, smiled briefly and, before leaving to resume his day, patted the boy on the shoulder and said in a fatherly tone, “When you grow up, I'll tell you...”
