Here we have the first post of the year. Holy Guacamole it has been ages, also we're half way through 2019 WOW!

I've been on a Gegege no Kitaro binge and felt the need to draw Kitaro. If you're a fan of Yokai and old Japanese cartoons like me then this show is right up your alley.

Gegege no Kitaro came out in the 60's and had several reboots and redesigns throughout the ages. Looking back through time and hearing the different theme songs really inspired this piece, featuring two of my favorite Yokai Kasa-obake and Gashadokuro.

Little do we know about what lies deep inside the dangerous Ragvillian jungles, even less do we know about this mysterious round character. Who is Candyrag? Is he really a sailor? Does he taste like candy? Questions only time will answer.

I made these models many months back, unfortunately they didn't make the cut, Ragville was too young and so were all the characters... now they all became too edgy and wear leather jackets. Seriously, changes happen and this is a little history for those who like what it takes to build what we have today and such. Stuff never got released because of general development reasons, but you'll find some old and new quirks on the bunch. Also, two raggirls since around then she was supposed to switch between two main alternate clothes, now she's not as nerdy looking as before, ..nerds.. -CR

Drew this a while ago, super busy but decided to give it Justice.
