Everyone always talks about how Carlos keeps saying he doesn't see Lando as his friend (yet), but this post makes a great point - the way he talks about Lando is like he sees him as a permament part of his life. And that's much bigger than just Lando being his random friend. Whether he wants to call him a friend or not now, you don't envision your future with someone you consider just a coworker.

And he sounds so confident that they'll be VERY good friends. It means there's already a lot of love and trust between them.
