My face when people who argued with me over whether Aziraphale and Crowley were romantically interested in one another during season 1, suddenly start acting like they were on board with it all along after season 2 aired.

Anyways it doesn't sour my experience with the show at all, I'm just getting increasingly annoyed with people who won't accept Queer relationships in media unless they see the characters kiss or fuck. And just to clarify I love everything the show did and I'm glad they kissed, it's just audiences who try to erase everything else there is to their love that gets to me.

Thoughts on Crowley and Aziraphiles Divorce

One thing that really gets me about the Ineffible divorce is how both Crowley and Aziraphile present their wants to one another. Crowley wants them to run off and leave, to be a mutual unit, but Aziraphile is asking for Crowley to be his second in command. Crowley would never have gone back with Aziraphile to heaven, but could you imagine if he had and he'd become an underling? It breaks my heart to think Aziraphile could even consider a life where they're no longer on equal footing and Crowley would be ranked 'below' him.

Considering the show took the time to showcase Aziraphiles change of heart towards heaven and key moments in his life that altered his morals, I really believe that he's being controlled by Metatron in some way (big fan of the coffee theory) but maybe I'm just in denial.

I also can't help but think that Metatron deliberately proposed the idea, because he knew how repulsed Crowley would be by it. He knew that by doing this it would drive a wedge between Crowley and Aziraphile. Not to mention how he came barging into the coffee shop later on and immediately starts slagging off Crowley >=((

Anyway I can't stop thinking about this show. I'm gonna go write some fanfiction to recover.

Thinking about Mary and Stede’s anniversary gifts to each other. How one was a lighthouse and the other a ship. Maybe I’m looking too much into it but maybe it’s Mary who’s the lighthouse and Stede the ship.

Lighthouse’s are meant to steer ships away and point them in the right direction. Given how Mary helped Stede realise he was in love with Ed in the last episode I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch.
