Henry and Shaan were in a plane crash over the ocean, Shaan got out and Henry didn’t. Henry ends up on an island, and I know he thought his name was Alex. There might have been a sequel, or in a later chapter Alex finds Henry is afraid of water now?

There’s this way Henry has of listening to the erratic stream of consciousness that pours out of Alex’s mouth and answering with the clearest, crystallized truth that Alex has been trying to arrive at all along. If Alex’s head is a storm, Henry is the place lightning hits ground.

Here’s my annual rant for you all,

I work, at a job, which sucks, handling escalated situations as well as issues with the press, and legal issues, one of the things that ends up on my plate, are social media influencer problems, because even a billion dollar company doesn’t want bad vibes from someone with millions of followers. Those come in through the companies pr team after social media posts go viral, where they are like hey, fix this.

And today? One of these people, the influencer types, someone I’ve personally followed for a long time, followed me on instagram and then asked if I could help.

And you know what? How entitled does one have to be to reach out on my personal social media? How deep does one have to look online to find my name and find me on social media? My name ain’t posted anywhere on the company’s website,

It’s fucking weird, expecting someone to handle your problem even if they aren’t working, and it’s weird to reach out directly on social media. Just because you use your social media for your job doesn’t mean my personal social media has anything to do with my job.
