My biggest fear is never being loved, and dying alone. And yet, at the ripe age of 25, which I know isn’t that old, I am so scared of being hurt by people, and thus I disregard them at the first red flag, because I’ve been on more than one date with a guy who seemed great that ended in me in the hospital and him, several months after the fact, in jail. Or, calling a cousin to come pick me up from a restaurant when a guy is being a complete asshole.

I don’t want to settle, but I also don’t want to pass up everyone when presented with the first hint to do so.

And beyond that, growing up in Utah, (Mormon hellscape) and being Bisexual, it’s been engrained in me that the only way to be happy is to find a man, specifically, and be a mom.

I want to be a mom. And the internal whatever, tells me that the only way to do that is to find a man. And I scroll through tinder and swipe left on every dude, because I can’t imagine being approached by a fucking dick and not being scared.

Listen to me wallow in self pity for a moment.

I have a rare disease, one in a million type shit with a variance in the disease that makes it rarer than the base disease. Rare enough that there aren’t medications formulated for my issues. I understand that it is more important to formulate things that help more people, but I hate trying shit made for other problems that we just hope might fix mine.

And, I’ve gone through those 3 options in my lifetime, and now, my choice is getting infusions, and I get that life isn’t fair, but this just fucking fair.
