I’m sorry but in my opinion, I don’t think people talk enough about the idea that Annabeth was legit terrified of Percy after Tartarus-

like this girl had to be reassured by piper that Percy still loved her

-like that made Percy kissing her in the place where Athena and Poseidon’s rival started so much more special

-also Annabeth had every right cuz girlie legit saw her boyfriend torture a goddess with her own poison

Since I haven’t seen any Annabeth fanart of her holding the torches in Wrath of the Triple Goddess, I made one!

Also warning slight spoiler maybe!!

Annabeth Re-Designing the Met in Wrath of the Triple Goddess

Okay so I’m studying architecture and this is how I would rewrite Annabeth when she had a project to redesign the met

I bet she’d have sketches laid out to show her point tbh

She’d also probably explain in depth the types of pillars she’d include in the interior and even exterior

By using Revit or an AutoCad program, I think that she should also explain in depth how the changes would affect people and encourage children to want to learn more about the monuments and statues

(Revit is an architectural program that allows architects to design and 3D model buildings)- Annabeth would totally build monuments for fun (because that’s what I do too)

Also by adding more windows is smart but would be good to explain more how that could affect the building’s interior layout , then she could explain how that could encourage people to view the monuments from all angles

For the marshmallow thing, I wasn’t really a fan of that plus that’s also more interior design than architecture, but since I’m studying both for architecture, I’ll give my insight -

I think that she could have explained more about how using a different style chair suited for comfort and another way to view the art would be good for all generations and could encourage people to fully take the art in and even sketch or take notes

Obviously , Rick Riordan isn’t an architect so it’s okay and I respect him trying, but this is just how I’d personally have Annabeth redesign it!

No hate to Rick Riordan either and I loved the Chalice of the Gods!

Sorry for the rambling, this is just how I’d have Annabeth show off her inner architect.

People are not talking about Annabeth in Wrath of the Triple Godess NEARLY enough

She has SO MANY good moments

Coming in to help them with the naiads with that badass enterance

When Percy collapses and she keeps the ghosts back DIRECTLY PARALLELLING PERCY DOING THE SAME WHEN SHE GOT STABBED IN TLO

She's just so good in this book I love her.

Am I the only one who really wants more Tartarus trauma for the new senior year??

Like I felt like it was really brushed over in WotTG

Give me Annabeth having a full-on panic attack at the mere mention of spiders and webs because that is kinda what got them into tartarus in the first place

Give me Annabeth blaming herself and not feeling good enough for Percy because she feels responsible for everything that happened to them

I want the trauma that was mentioned in BoO like especially with how they both coped with that

I want the kind of trauma Annabeth brought up in Magnus Chase where she was in tears just thinking about the place

I want both of them to be unable to sleep at night because the mere thought of Tartarus haunts them

I want more of dark percy where he really expands his powers like with blood bending

The scene with the potion being thrown at Annabeth had so much potential- LIKE PERCY CAN MANIPULATE POISON??!?

Now I want Annabeth to draw back to the absolute fear that she felt in Tartarus of Percy's wrath and power

I really think that this book is showing how similar Percy is to Posiedon when it comes to rage and anger, especially with all the times he needed to control himself and use breathing techniques that Annabeth gave him

Like we need to expand on that more and show Percy snap, especially with all the pressure he's under.
