When I decided to sell crochet items, this is what I wanted to offer: Elegant handmade shawls that can be added to any wardrobe. This asymmetrical hawl has a 52 in wingspan and a depth of 24 inches. The pattern was produced by The Crochet Project. All the love and many hours went in to creating this piece. This pattern allowed the yarn to shine and yet it eludes the true color of this shawl. I have been crocheting off and on for 20+ years now. I started selling custom hats while in grad school. Mostly to friends and family. I didn't really stick with it because- grad school! I feel the world has opened up in terms of sharing knowledge and know- how. If you don't know how to do something, there is a wealth of knowledge out at your fingertips. I am filling my toolbox this time so I can remain resilient and maintain the momentum I have acquired. It takes tenacity to remain focused and to continue to move towards a goal. Today is my *day off* so I plan to:

1. menu plan for the coming week. (a must in my life or all hell breaks loose).

2. Vacuum all the dog hair.

3.Crochet of course.

4. Start writing a sermon for Sunday.

I don't know where the * off* part is of this day but it will be a good day because I can do all this in my pjs!!

My hands are crazy restless . I think it is stress. It feels as if every December I can't get enough crocheting in. MUST finish all WIPs.

graduation

When I started this Tumblr account I had just started seminary. Next weekend I graduate. It has been an incredible five year journey. I can't say it has all been wonderful. There have been some rough weeks maybe even months trying to work in homework and nurse a baby.

My family has been amazing and very supportive. 

We are learning, praying and discerning about what is next.
